„We had the greatest time! The place looks straight out of the western era and the views are incredible! It’s super close to Big Bend. If you want to go see stars is the perfect place, always double check the weather because we did get some clouds and rain on the second day. Overall, it was a great place! The only thing that I would recommend is that the porch light to be red light, when we were stargazing some people had their porch light on and it affected visibility.“

„We stayed here for two nights while visiting the McDonald Observatory in the Davis Mountains. The unit itself was clean, the A/C worked very well, and there was plenty of hot water.There were, however, a few areas that could use some attention. The photos of the back patio are outdated. The space currently has a patio table and a plastic picnic table, but the patio table hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. The umbrella was a nice touch and provided good shade, but there was an empty water ...

I loved having a bath in the claw foot tub, it was so relaxing. It’s located at the far end of Alpine but the town is small enough it is easy to get around. The town has a lot of cute restaurants and shops.“
