„In die Jahre gekommene Hemlock Lodge mitten im State Park. Am Hang gelegen und mitten im Wald, viele Vögel und Eichhörnchen aber wenig Blick. Gute Betten aber Möbiliar und Badezimmer sind alt zuweisen zahlreiche Gebrauchspuren auf. Alle Zimmer haben großen Balkon. Leider nicht allzu sauber. Im angeschlossen Restaurant gab es sowohl morgens als auch abends Buffet. Preiswert aber auch nur allenfalls durchschnittlich gut. Die Natural Bridge kann man zu Fuß in einer 3/4 Stunde erreichen. „This was our second time staying at Bluegrass Palace. This was for our annual staff retreat for Bolts & Quarters Quilt Shop in Parkersburg, West Virginia.“

„Impeccable place! Perfect for a small family. It was far into the woods, which we wanted. Our little guy really enjoyed the hot tub.You can't see the neighboring house, but the people occupying it were very audible. Not a dealbreaker-- just something to be aware of.“

„Our stay was great! The hot tub was the best part! Did read about the steep road and driveway ahead of time and we drove our truck. It was doable. We went hiking at Red River Gorge and did the Gorge underground. Very neat and adventurous.“

„Was very peaceful and quiet. The bed downstair is alittle unsturdy and the bees are pretty bad. But other than that the rest of the place is nice and clean with a fire pit and a little girll. Diffently good for a get away from society. “

„I was pretty impressed with this property. Not only was it cute, it was in a great location. It has a nice back porch and a fun fire pit area. Please note that the 2nd bedroom in in a loft area, requiring you to ascend some pretty steep stairs. I would definitely stay here again.“
