Ferienwohnungen in Bezirk Funai

„Our room was clean and spacious. Finding it was a challenge for the local cab driver. The breakfast was just breads but I enjoyed the mugwort rolls! I’d recommend that they add a washer/dryer to some rooms. Also, the sleeping clothes were a little worn. Mine was missing an important button. The staff were friendly but it could be hard to communicate with them over the phone.“

„This is only sort of kind of the whole property, Kyoto has very strict tax laws and needs to have a front desk and therefore part of the property is that, additionally the upper floors are inhabited, but none of that matters really because of how wonderful the people and the space are.“

„In all caps? DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. You cannot contact the host and, at least for us, they never provided an access code. We ended up on the street with our luggage for hours while the excellent support staff at Expedia helped us sort it out and booked us another place to stay. The people who lived locally said this was not the first time it had happened either and other families had gone through the same thing. (One very nice local family invited us into their home to get us off the street; ...

„Our recent stay at NIPPONIA Miyama was unforgettable — not just because of the beautifully restored houses, but because every detail showed how thoughtful and considerate the team is. The atmosphere is calm, zen, and deeply connected to the surrounding nature. What truly stood out was the hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to tailor activities just for us. They arranged a private hike to a nearby waterfall, followed by a farm‑to‑table experience where we learned to identify local ...

„A unique and beautiful accommodation. Lovely chambers, bathroom…, and the weaving mill also further adds to the authentic feel, Located in a quiet residential area.“

„An amazing place if you want to experience a more traditional house in Kyoto, instead of sleeping at an hotel. Has everything you need from kitchen to a traditional futon. Would love to come back again. The bus is really close and the subway is not far from the house either. So easy to get around town.“
