Kitchen counter had multiple burn marks and some sticky substance, corner held down with duct tape. Screen door off tracks, laying against wall. Wife was stung by insect in the unit, had to go to hospital. We moved out after only 3 hours, and literally slept in the car rather than go back. Owner uncaring, rude and greedy. „This cottage is the perfect home-base for exploring southern Vermont. The personal touches and smallest details LJ has added to the home make it an exceptional stay. LJ is a fantastic host and very responsive to all communication, even quickly helping us when we had a user error with the lock (100% my fault). We had an amazing time trekking out in the woods in the snow.Kitchen was well stocked and the treats, coffee and tea were a nice bonus. My kids enjoyed the extra games as well!
