"The best hotel we had during our three week stay in Japan. Absolutely mesmerizing views of Lake Ashinoko ( Mount Fuji on clear days) and a private Onsen (with real Onsen Water) in every apartment. Very comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and a modern interior design with good ACs plus floor heating. The Projector comes with a decent Soundbar and Netflix, Disney Plus, etc. allow for movie nights as well. The food bath on the balcony is also a welcome sight after a long hike. Situated at a great starting point for Hakone Trips, with the Hakone Shrine, the Pirate boat and old Tokaido Road right next to it. Larger crowds unfortunately come with those attractions during the day, but can mostly be avoided in the early morning or evening, as most people take the bus or ferry to Motohakone. There are also a 24h 711 and a Lawson Convenience Store in town. Most restaurants in the area close very early or only accept reservations, so better plan your meals ahead. Busses to Hakone Yumoto, Odawara, Mishima etc. are stopping pretty much in front of the hotel. So arriving by Shinkansen or RomanceCar-Train is easy. Only big caveat: The Check In Information was not send to us by RakutenStay. I had to call a (very expensive) hotline on the morning of our arrival to finally get it. Expedia and RakutenStay should probably work on their communication to avoid moments like that in the future."

"This is an absolutely amazing hotel. If you want to experience traditional japanese hotel and onsen you cannot miss this!! We were here in our honeymoon and they made us a present even. Super friendly staff, super clean hotel. We loved it here and will come back for sure! :-)"

"Das Zimmer war sehr schön, sauber, hell und geräumig. Es war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und der Blick vom Balkon auf den Ashi-See hervorragend. Die Lobby des Hotels inkl. Terrasse mit Fussbad mit Blick auf den See ausgesprochen angenehm. Das Frühstücks- sowie das Dinner-Büffet waren mit frischen Salaten, Sashimi und weltlichen sowie japanischen Gerichten sehr gut. "

"Wenn ihr Euch zu einer bestimmten Uhrzeit anmeldet, dann werdet ihr vom Bus abgeholt. Die Busstation ist direkt neben der Auffahrt zur Unterkunft. Ein sehr kurzer Weg, aber auch steil. Wir hatten Glück und es stand zufällig ein Fahrdienst da. Sehr freundliches Personal. Wir hatten ausserhalb der Unterkunft gegessen. Empfehlungen haben wir uns von der Unterkunft geben lassen. War super gut. Wir wurden dann auch nach dem Essen vom Fahrdienst abgeholt."
