„The property was sweet. Loved the pond in the back and the white goose. There are 4 wheeler trails nearby so want to make another visit to explore. There is a great restaurant around the corner too that was excellent. Good food great prices. Overall a great place to get away.“

„Our group came to Portage to snowmobile and explore the trail system in this area. I chose the Lakehouse cause the pictures were sunny, warm and welcoming. The cabin was well stocked, clean, and comfortable...hot shower were a plus. We enjoyed our stay and would come back. Mary the host was very helpful.“

„A beautiful cottage set in a wooded camp on Portage Lake. We kayaked and canoed. Very rustic, but super comfortable. Washer/dryer was a bonus! Hiked up Hedgehog Mountain, drove on to Fort Kent. Grilled some fish and relaxed on the wonderful covered patio. “

„This was our second time staying here we returned because we loved it the first time! It’s a quaint comfortable cozy cabin very clean and Becky is a wonderful host! We didn't ski so I can’t speak to that it wouldn’t let me complete this review so I gave it 3 stars. It’s also a great location looking forward to going back! “
