„This turned out to be a great place to stay with our three generations of family. Lots of bed space, adequate bathrooms, nicely furnished. There was a hiccup with the air conditioning failing, but the host, Camien, was quick to respond with what resources could be mustered on a holiday weekend, and was quick to offer a partial refund in keeping with the problem. „I really enjoyed this house and would consider it again. It's super close to the grocery and to the coffee depot - and Maple Canyon, which is why we were in the area. The kitchen was well enough equipped that we were able to cook 3 meals there without any issues. The shower was nice and hot too. „This is a very cool historic house. However, I did drive past it as I was looking for a white house. Appears that it is in the process of being sandblasted for a new paint job. everything looks clean and location was good … I did overlook the fact that it did not have a TV. That was my bad….. „As expected, the tent was on a cool lake in a very remote spot. Unfortunately, the tent was definitely not the one pictured in the listing. The listing showed a round tent, and this one was a typical “house” style. It is quite windy on the lake, so be prepared to keep the tent closed up.
