„We had a comfortable stay. Although the room was large, it is dated. The room was clean, comfortable, and well suited to our short stay. This is a straightforward, no-frills property with the essential amenities, and it met our expectations. „Es war ein sehr gelungener Aufenthalt im Royal Oak. Es ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen(Bad), liegt aber dafür in einem wunderschönen Fleckchen Erde gehört wohl zu den Hotel-/Gaststätten mit dem freundlichsten Angestellten. Wir wurden unglaublich nett aufgenommen, Adene und alle anderen waren äußerst zuvorkommend und nett! Betten waren hervorragend! Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis wohl unschlagbar! Booking in was straight forward enough but they wanted a payment card handed over so that they could make all the entries instead of putting a card through a card reader. „Friendly staff. Upon arrival, there isn’t a person permanently at the check-in desk…not really a problem, but if there was a sign directing newcomers to the bar for assistance, that would help. I wish there were fridges in the rooms. But the shower was great, room was clean, and a kettle for tea/coffee worked great. And the food available at the attached pub is excellent.
