„Beautiful property! Clean and updated rooms. They do a great job trying to maintain them. We loved having the amenities of a pool, nightly entertainment, close to town. Amazing views. Staying here and driving to the beaches was worth it!“

„Just don’t waste your money! The food in the restaurant gross and overpriced. Bar tenders suck as they use generic alcohol. The guest services reps are RUDE! You have to tip shuttle drivers if you want a ride to and from your room and the way the layout is of the property you will want/need the shuttle. And don’t get me started on that funky smelling beach that you cannot even get on due to the funky seaweed. You have to take a shuttle to an offsite beach. Save your money! “

„Everything here was excellent, including the staff, the facilities, the room, the view from the room, the food in the restaurants, the pool, the available water toys (kayak, hobbies, ) and the very attention to details that convey that sense of luxury (ie the shampoo, the towel, the soap, the amazing bedding, etc). They are trying to keep the sargassum away with a barrier and partially succeeding at keeping it under control. The beach is relatively small and facing east.“

The photos online were very deceiving and did not accurately reflect the condition of the hotel or the room we received. „Booked a last minute trip here with my wife and daughter. We absolutely loved everything. The food was great, the room was very clean and updated unlike what we saw from other resorts. Honestly dont let a few bad reviews sway you about staying here. We will be back to the Buoy House next year. Well worth the price to stay here.“
