„The A/C was a little noisy. They were ants in the kitchen area. The room needed a black out curtain over the kitchen window. The bathroom needs a fan to remove the steam from shower“

„Spent 4nights and it was beautiful close to beach great views. The only thing I didn’t like was the restaurant and bar closed early like 9pm so if u didn’t have food by then you will starve and if you did have food there was no microwave to heat the food up.“

„Everything here was excellent, including the staff, the facilities, the room, the view from the room, the food in the restaurants, the pool, the available water toys (kayak, hobbies, ) and the very attention to details that convey that sense of luxury (ie the shampoo, the towel, the soap, the amazing bedding, etc). They are trying to keep the sargassum away with a barrier and partially succeeding at keeping it under control. The beach is relatively small and facing east.“

„The view is why you should stay here. The pool and bar are great, lounge chairs need repair. Convenient access to old town. The restaurant is very good but pricey, Sibs up the road is a grea local bar and restaurant. There is NO sign to tell you where to turn to get to hotel. Three stars is a good position for this hotel. Finally, I would NOT return to St. Thomas. There are a lot to see and do but driving the roads wear you out getting there. Go to St. John or St. Croix instead.“

„Stayed for our honeymoon. The property was beautifully positioned on the water with views of the WICO port. The pools were clean and offered sun and shade options. Beach access (at nearby Bouy Haus) was less than ideal, you can visit the beach but there were no amenities for Westin guests (chairs, umbrellas, etc.). We wished there were more private places to just sit and relax, there were two chairs overlooking the beach which we loved but so did other guests. Food options were obviously ...

„Booked a last minute trip here with my wife and daughter. We absolutely loved everything. The food was great, the room was very clean and updated unlike what we saw from other resorts. Honestly dont let a few bad reviews sway you about staying here. We will be back to the Buoy House next year. Well worth the price to stay here.“

„The staff members, especially Asha were excellent. The setting was excellent. The view from our unit was beyond beautiful. The unit was well decorated (a bit dated but very nice). The adjacent restaraunt is very good, not a large menu but the food was very well prepared. The only negative was the location. Without a car you don't have access to anything else. If you are looking for a place to chill on the beach and eat in a nice restaraunt this just might be the place. We will go back.“

„Room was clean and comfortable. Would have liked a microwave in the room and coffee available in the lobby. The sitting area was nice unless there was a boat nearby that gave a diesel smell. Cruise ships did not dock in front of the hotel but further down the dock, so our view was not blocked. Hotel is in walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the sky-tram which was nice.“
