„Wir wurden mit einem Getränk, Kekse und Blumen herzlich willkommen geheißen. Ab der 1. Minute haben wir uns heimisch gefühlt. Tolle Gastgeber. Geschmackvolle Einrichtung, in der Küche alles was man braucht vorhanden. Eine herrliche Landschaft uns sehr nahe an Chester. Gerne werden wir bei uns nächsten Englandaufenthalt wieder in das Cottage kommen. Der Erholungswert ist unvergleichlich.“

„The cottage was in a perfect location for us. The town centre of Ruthin is within walking distance and there are many interesting destinations a short drive away. The cottage was clean and all the essentials were provided. The bedding and towels were of good quality and the bed was very comfortable. There is secure off-road parking and the garden is fenced around. There is a tall step between the back door and the gravelled garden, but Ruthin is hilly so this should not be a surprise! “

„Our stay was perfect. We were away for a romantic trip and the cottage was perfect for that. The cottage was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need for a romantic few days away, including two big bath towels each, never mind all the other little touches and the excellent welcome basket. We would highly recommend it to anyone and would love to come back someday. “

„We throughly enjoyed our stay , we had good communication with the owners and the cottage was very clean and spacious. Parking was never a problem and it is in a quiet area but very handy for Chester which is a lovey town .The hot tub was great and was used every day . “

„We booked this property for a family of 12 as it was close to a family wedding at Chester zoo. The property offers everything, it's spacious, clean and even has a games room to keep the kids entertained. The rooms were good sizes with bathrooms of each of the 3 floors. We also visited blue planet aquarium and Cheshire oaks which were only 20 minutes drive and tried out the local pubs which were good and had an Indian at indivala which was amazing. I highly recommend staying at this property.“

„We were two couples and found this cottage to work out terrific for our stay. We have time in Chester, Wrexham and Liverpool which made for easy day trips. The host Gary did an excellent job in meeting us at the place and provided a great overview of how everything worked. “

The cottage is situated opposite the Eagle and child pub. Delicious food, super friendly and great value for money. Will definitely be returning. “

„We have used Hotels.com many times and Sykes cottages a number of times this past year al very good and this was excellent. The booking was easy but the owner of this cottage was excellent in communication and instructions ( Gaynor ) there isn’t enough I could say and we had the privilege of meeting her when she did midweek check on jacuzzi. The kitchen well designed for easy use and very well equipped with everything. Bed really comfortable. We do a lot of walking so the jacuzzi was a massive ...

„For a three bedroom (sleeps six) cottage this is great value. It's generally in satisfactory condition. OK, the garden and cottage could do with sprucing up a bit but it's a good place to stay. There is plenty of car parking space around the back, and a large village (Kelsall) two miles away“

„Neil and Barbara were great and met us on arrival to familiarize us with the property. The house was beautifully appointed and comfortable. Location was perfect … close to the river and walkable to everything. Absolutely Lovely!!“

"Schönes, ruhiges Zimmer mit toller Aussicht auf die Albert Docks. Leider war das Zimmer nicht wirklich geputzt (Staub, Fingerabdrücke etc.). Das Frühstück ist super mit viel Auswahl (Full English Breakfast, Obst, Süßspeisen), alles frisch. Der Service war sehr höflich. Kostenlose Gepäckaufbewahrung war möglich. Wir sind mit dem Bus vom Flughafen Manchester gekommen und mussten von Liverpool One nur wenige Minuten gehen. Auch sonst ist die Lage perfekt - Zentrum mit Geschäften als auch Triangle mit Brauereien etc. Sind in nächster Nähe. Wir werden das Maldron bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt in Liverpool ganz bestimmt erneut buchen."
