„Java Cottage was a beautiful property in the heart of Dunmore Town with walkable access to virtually everything. Combined with the pool, grounds, and outdoor cooking/dining/lounging areas, it was a true oasis within an oasis. „This place is a great refugium and the spot can't get any better. If you prefer it causal, this place is hard to beat. Supermarket is in walking distance and to the harbor to buy some fish, takes about 10 minutes with the golf cart. There are kayaks in the shack to get out to the sandbank. From time to time we somehow managed it to bounce-off with a old fallen nut some green coconuts from the palm trees on the property to harvest our own coconut water - awesome. „The location was perfect for the Independence Day celebration. We were able to walk right to the beach in about 3 minutes. The bathrooms and house were very clean. However, the cookware was old and worn out. Scott the property manager was fantastic. There was a thunderstorm and the TV and Internet blew out but he was there right away and replaced it with a brand new TV.“

„I had a great relaxing week at Governor's Harbor...the cottage was perfect (including a supporting bed). John, the owner/host was always available when needed and always helpful. I got in a routine....coffee, news and a book early morning, then off to find a beach to snorkel and walk at...then find a beach lunch and then siesta...around 5 or 6 I would walk down to Twin Cove for an evening dip in the crystal clear Atlantic...then a lite dinner and people watching...repeat for 7 days. „Shorebreak can take you back in time. The cottage perched above the breaking waves of the Atlantic is nothing short of breathtaking. From morning coffee to evening conversation, the back deck was a centerpiece for the house. „We had a fabulous stay at the house! Everything was perfect! Carole arranged for our transportation from the airport to the dock and the ferry ride over to Spanish Wells. Once we arrived at Spanish Wells dock Audrey the caretaker was waiting for us and escorted us back to the house. Our golf cart rental was also prearranged and waiting at the dock when we arrived. „We stayed at the beautiful situated ocean view cottage for 6 days with a family of 3 persons. It‘s small and cosy and gives you everything you need. The garden is beautiful and we loved to spend time on the terasse for extensive breakfasting :-) Within 10 minutes by foot there is one of the most beautiful but very quiet beaches with great snorkeling opportunities (turtles!).
