Perfect for escape to the sun
The check in was seamless with Lyubo walking you around showing how things worked. I was initially a little worried at the area we were staying in by the amount of security needed with cameras and alarms etc. My only surprise was there's no single beds so we had to rearrange some of the children into put-up beds as they didn't want to share a double. The area is a bit hilly for young children and older less fit adults. It's located a fair way from a nice sandy beach and restaurants. The tram was really cheap so we used that to get to these areas. It was about an 8 minute walk which was a little difficult with the hills and heat in August. There were 12 of us, of various ages, so after getting a supermarket delivery from Mercadona we didn't need to go too far with having the lovely pool and everything you needed to chill. Locally... Coveta XI were great for transport to waterparks, airport etc. Singapore garden was lovely for a meal out. This was within a 10 minute walk nestled among a little group of restaurants and bars. Great ccommunication from the owner and Lyubo if you needed anything. Great family memories made. Thank you

A very pleasant stay
We were a large family with 9 adults and 7 children. We arrived at Casa Obelix on Sunday afternoon, were warmly welcomed by Lyubo who showed us around the house. He was very available by text when there was something we wondered about. It was a large and well-equipped house, very good space, and it was very clean and tidy. It was also very easy to communicate with the owner if there was anything we wondered about. Can really recommend going to El Campello and Casa Obelix :)

Beautiful house with all facilities, very nice and quiet location, good communication with the host and we felt very welcome. The concierge did not speak English, so recommend communication by texting if you don’t speak Spanish. :) He was very friendly and very helpful. We had a very nice stay!

Perfect house in quiet and nice area
Fantastic and luxurious house - we were 9 persons - having very fine rooms and a lot of bathrooms etc. Very nice kitchen and the outside area is perfect. We enjoyed all meals outside which we enjoyed very much. Description on web is correct, the owner very polite and quick answering and check in was very nice!! We couldn’t speak Spanish - but we kind of understood each other…. And had a good laugh. His kindness was so appreciated!!!! Our highest recommendation to this place. Everything is perfect - and we will strive at visiting it again !!!

Fantastic family fun
Superb location near both airport & tram with lovely local local square to left of villa for breakfast, coffee, toasties, pizzeria, small rocky beach with Alicante, Benidorm, El Campello & San Juan not far. Villa fabulous & well equipped and great place to base a family or couples of all ages. Good taxi service with cabify to book Taxi’s - our group golfed too. We used suntransfers for transfer from airport and all in all an exceptional and fun stay.

Exceeded Our Expectations
We booked to stay at this villa for 4 weeks (Mid Sept - Mid Oct) and we have been blown away with how big it was. We had concerns over the bedrooms due to the lack of photos but there was no need. They are all very spacious and well equipped. The location is quite hilly but that didn’t bother us. We debated renting a car before we arrived but decided to wait until we arrived. We never bothered in the end as the walks are just lovely. If you head left when you leave the property there is a few little bars and a children’s park which we loved, everyone is so friendly. There are also two really nice restaurants (defo recommend a visit) a few meters away from the park. The only recommendation we would have is for the pool to have some maintenance as the wood panel to the edge seemed to be lose and the tiles inside kept coming away so there was always bits at the bottom of the water. It didn’t put us off. Couldn’t recommend your home enough and we will definitely be back next year. Thank you

Beautiful villa for family time
My family and I picked this villa as we live in Oz but my family live in UK so we wanted to have some quality time together which was really possible. The villa was amazing, even better than the photos. Really well equipped with beautiful pool and different areas. The bedrooms aren't pictured but are also great. The host was amazing and provided regular communication. The location was we expected it to be, we would definately hire a car next time to be able to do groceries and other small trips. We would definately recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thankyou

Amazing week away with friends
This property is everything we hoped it would be and more. The property exceeded our expectations in every way, and there was constant communication for the concierge and owner. The pool area was a personal favourite of mine, not to mention the hot tub downstairs! Overall, I couldn’t recommend staying in this property and I will certainly be trying to return at some point.

Large modern property with an amazing view and ideal for multiple families.
The property has a really nice infinity style pool at the front that you can look out to sea in while swimming. Having air conditioning in 75% of the property is lovely to come in to out of the hot sun. Everything is well equipped, especially the kitchen. The six of us got a transfer to the property from Alicante Airport and did not feel we needed the use of a car for our stay, as the two walkable tram stations can take you to the line’s coastal extremes of Alicante or Benidorm in about 30 minutes with lots of other lovely towns and line connections in-between. The trams have ticket machines on them with different language options and ticket prices are very reasonable. There is a small local supermarket within a ten minute walk and not far from it there are a few friendly bars and restaurants that are ok and very reasonably priced. The villa’s owner was very helpful throughout and also helped by accommodating our request to a later vacate time due to having a night flight. His very friendly local representative met us on arrival and showed us how everything worked. With his little English and our little Spanish he very patiently made sure we were happy before leaving us to it. A nice touch in the property is the provision of a blank art canvas to paint a piece of artwork. Which after seeing the high level from previous guests over the years hung in the underneath parking garage we decided we would only embarrass ourselves, so did not partake. I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends and would come back myself, but my very demanding partner has a rule that she always has to go somewhere different.

Very nice villa with a wonderful pool
We can't express a useful opinion on how suitable the villa would be for a large party as we were a party of only 2, I know, seems ridiculous but there were reasons, so that needs to be borne in mind when considering this review. For us however the villa was wonderful but we only used the top floor. It was extremely well equipped, there was everything you could possibly need, even a wok station! The pool and outside area were wonderful with a very nice view out to sea. The location is very quiet and a 5 minute drive or fifteen minute walk to the local tram station. Trams from this station generally only went as far as El Campello when travelling south. A switch was needed to go further although all stations on the line could be directly accessed when travelling north. El Campello itself is surprisingly lively with a multitude of bars and restaurants on the attractive promenade. Aircon is to be paid for but there are plenty of ceiling fans in the villa and these are very effective. Judicious use of the fans significantly reduces the need to use the aircon. When we were first shown around the property by Lyubo we must have shown some disappointment that there was no toaster. Early next morning Lyubo was on the doorstep with a new toaster. Thanks for arranging that Winjnand. Lyubo is a really great guy but communication in English was a little difficult between us. However the magic of translation software made subsequent queries by text very simple. The only two slightly negative issues were that my wife would have liked some long hanging space in at least one wardrobe and also that the television is actually only a monitor for the DVD player and no broadcast television is available. As our visit coincided with major sporting events like the women's football world cup, Wimbledon and the cricket world cup it would have been nice to have had some access to them. We had visited a number of locations on our trip and in each we were able to view coverage albeit in local language. These were, however, relatively minor issues and in no way stopped us having a wonderful time at this lovely villa.

A great place to stay!
The property was clean, well maintained and well equipped. The living space was light and spacious. The different areas outside were good, giving space for eating, a comfortable seating area, space for sunbathing on the roof and by the pool, as well as giving sun and shade depending what was required. The pool was very clean and a good size. The basement has a large garage, more bedrooms and a table tennis table which was good fun to play and made a change from lying around. It is well situated too. The view looks out to sea and around the coast. 2 minutes down the road is a little bay, which is, unfortunately, very stony in the water. We sat on the rocks as the warm waves crashed around us. 10 minutes walk the other way are some restaurants and a couple of bars. There are a couple of large supermarkets, and fast food chains, 15 minutes drive away on the outskirts of the town, El Campello. The location of the villa is in between Alicante and Benidorm, and only 30 minutes drive away. We didn't have any issues or problems with the villa and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this villa for a relaxing holiday.

MUY CARA: Casa sin climatización, muy alejada de playas y servicios hay que coger coche para todo
la casa en si está bien pero tiene varias deficiencias. 1º No tiene aire acondicionado solo ventiladores y hace muchísimo calor por las noches lo que dificulta el dormir. 2º Los frigoríficos no enfrían lo suficiente. 3º Esta alejado de todo hay que coger el coche para ir a cualquier sitio. 4º Solicitamos salir a las 12.00 en lugar de a las 10:30 y a pesar de que no tenía ninguna entreda ese día nos quería cobrar mucho por 1h 30. 5º Hay que pagar luz, Agua y electricidad. No se como mide lo consumido tienes que creerte lo que te dice ya que no nos enseño los contadores. Fue un importe excesivo y eso que no tiene aire acondicionado . Lo más seguro es que ese consumo se deba a la depuradora de la piscina que la tenia 24h y a pesar de eso no mantuvo el agua clara los 5 días. Por decir algo positivo Liuvo muy atento y simpatico

Dear Family, We are very sorry to receive this review. And we would like to comment on the complaints you made: 1: indeed there is no airco and this is also been stated in the advertisement. We are however working on that and next season we will have airco in the house 2: the news about the refrigerator is new to us as you know it’s a fairly new house with all new appliances. From renters before and after you we didn’t receive any complaints about this 3: the choice of the house and its location is made by yourself. And the description tells you about the need for a car 4: also the check in and out times are known before booking. We have arrangements made for cleaning with companies etc which need the time to clean the house. Also when not immediatly getting next renters. If they have less time they need an extra cleaner to be finished in time. 5:in the description is also stated that the usage is charged afterwards as per meter. Our concierge takes up all the standings before you enter and once you have left. Hopefully this clarifies a couple of things for you. Kind regards

Beautiful villa, fantastic location
What a lovely Villa. We had a fantastic long weekend, it was hot, the villa could do with air conditioning, but, there was a nice breeze through the villa and the fans worked pretty well, we did purchase some larger fans for the downstairs bedrooms. The local pubs were nice, the best meals were a short taxi ride in to Alicante. Really quiet, would definitely stay here again, wonderful views from the pool.

Vi var 2 familier på totalt 9 personer som ferierte i huset i juli 2018. Huset i seg selv var helt strålende, kjempesvært hus og topp kvalitet i på alt. Området rundt huset er veldig fint, med gåavstand til strendene rett nedenfor og ikke minst til toget. Bare 5 min med bil inn til den fine stranden i Campello og 15 min inn til Alicante. Det som trekker litt ned er mangelen på air-condition, det var også opplyst om dette i forkant men det blir litt for varmt på kveldene for å kunne sove godt. Mye mygg og insekter rundt huset også slik at vi ikke kunne sitte så mye ute på kvelden. Ifølge vaktmester skulle air-condition bli installert det neste halvåret så besøkende til neste år får gjerne nytte av det. Men alt i alt er vi godt fornøyd med oppholdet og anbefaler huset til andre som vil ha en finfin ferie utenfor Alicante!

Alle fasiliteter man trenger i ett herlig sydhavshus.
Vi var tre familier på til sammen ti personer. Vi kunne vært to personer til. Det var ett herlig hus med alt vi trengte pg mye mer. Ordentlig rent var det også. Vi ble møtt av en hyggelig spanjoler som gav oss omvisning og var tilgjengelig hvis vi trengte hjelp med noe. Men det ble ikke nødvendig for alt var slik det stod det skulle være. Ti minutter kjøretur for å komme til en ordentlig matvarebutikk (i el campello). Men til gjengjeld en utrolig flott butikk, med de beste råvarer innen både kjøtt og fisk. Kan være en fordel å ha bil hvis man skal handle inn til ett lengre opphold med flere familier. Det beste av alt var bassenget og uteplassen. Her var vi nesten hele tiden😊.

Topvilla op uitstekende locatie.
We waren met 9 volwassenen en 2 kinderen in deze zeer goed geoutilleerde villa. Heerlijk veel ruimte zowel in als om het huis. Mooie grote kamers met aangrenzende moderne badkamers. Het huis was voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Prima conciërge die er steeds was om ons te assisteren. Heerlijke jacuzzi toen het weer even niet meewerkte. Kortom: een aanrader.

In total we were 11 adults and 4 children who stayed for one week. The house was very nice but we were missing an air conditioning since it was very hot this period. There are many roof fans but that is not enough to get a decent temperature at night. Otherwise things worked out good for us. Additional cost for electricity approx 100 euro.
