Hi Peggy, Thanks for the review it really helps us to be better at what we do. Sorry about the shower, we are rebuilding them this winter. As for dinner time, we will make a reservation for our guests that are in-house when you book your stay. We do this to ensure you have a table, and sometimes we have no choice in time as we are full. This summer we were busier than anticipated. I would say a large number of dinners are here celebrity an event and we offer a special event package for that reason. I should point out your stay cost $642 including, 2 dinners and 2 breakfast

Hello, We are sorry that you were not satisfied with our Forest View Room. Yes the parking lot is visible from that balcony, but the trees are also visible. When your concerns were voiced, our Front Desk attendant was able to offer you a considerable discount on upgrading to an Ocean View Suite for only an additional $75/night (normally this upgrade would be an additional $197/night). Again, we apologize that you did not enjoy your stay to it's full potential and wish you the best on your next travel experience.

Hello, We are happy to know you enjoyed the amazing views and scenery that Egmont and the West Coast Wilderness Lodge have to to offer. We do not offer AC in any of our accommodations since during most of our season they are not needed. We do provide fans in all rooms and suites. The Lodge is rustic, but we do not feel it is "run down". We appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration as we move forward.
