The Check-In was terrible. My room wasn't ready when I arrived ( 30 min past regular check in time) and I had to wait another 20 min after that. No compensation was offered. I would expect something like this to happen at a hostel, but not at a Hilton.
Check-Out was very pleasant. The room itself was good, but not very well looked after. The paint was chipped in many parts of the room. The location ist excellent!

The property is difficult to reach from the train station due to construction, which also caused a lot of noise during the day and made it difficult for taxis to pick us up. However, the hotel staff went out of their way to help with everything and the location so close to the royal mile is amazing.

Not the greatest, not even great.
Room quite dirty, minimal beverage choice in room. Bathroom tiny, you couldn't open the bathroom door fully. Air-conditioning very slow to work. Building noise and inconvenience.

The staff were super friendly and helpful! Close to the Royal Mile. Take the St.Andrew Square tram stop to make the short 10 minute walk to the hotel.
