„Everything was good. But the upstairs bedroom one TV was not connected to the internet also some light didn’t have light bulbs. Otherwise it was very nice “

„Cabin was very clean. There was a basket of treats welcoming us when we entered the cabin, very thoughtful by the host. Cabin was nice and cool although it was quite hot outside-in the 90's. Beds were comfortable, our daughter enjoyed the loft. I liked the early mornings sitting on the back porch drinking my coffee, the back porch even has ceiling fans to keep one cool. It was way to hot(for us) to use the fire pit. All we had to supply was food, pots and pans, dishes and utensils, a good ...

„Ok. The WiFi did not work during stay.“

„The house met all of our needs and is beautiful decorated. We used the house as our base for a mini family reunion with my three siblings and their spouses. The house was the perfect size for the eight of us and the two dogs that came along with two of the couples. The large back porch overlooking the field behind the house was perfect to let the dogs run as the house is secluded from other houses and a short drive from the road. „This was the perfect home base for our family while visiting Garden of the Gods and the Shawnee National Forest. Everything was exactly has stated and shown in photos - just even larger than expected! The home was wonderful, and we appreciated everything provided including coffee and firewood for the firepit! Thank you for sharing your home with us!“

„Our family really loved the house and property. It was an excellent basecamp for surrounding hiking excursions. The property itself with the open floor plan, prairie trail, pond and fire pit really let us melt away hours in the evening as our legs recovered from hiking. „San Damiano was a very nice retreat. We could tell the staff does everything possible to be responsive and ensure a good stay. The back area is very scenic. But be CAREFUL. Remember the back is a cliff. Our dog leaped off the cliff chasing a squirrel and plummeted about 200 feet. He's alive but in bad shape. The ...

„Great river views. Nice and quiet.“

„Good location, easy to book and find, host answers timely, clean, lots of windows, and has everything you need.“

„If you’re looking for peace and quiet you found it. I sat out on the porch and just looked at the pond. Turned off the cell relaxed and enjoyed the view. The host was very accommodating. The home look just like the pictures and when I arrived the air conditioning was going which was great when your from California and not used to the hot sticky summers in Southern Illinois.“
