Thank you for your review and valuable feedback. We apologize that you seemed to have gotten the wrong impression regarding Lodge policies. We feel it's very important for our future guests to understand that Trout Point provides full guests services from before breakfast to well after dinner service every day of the week. By law, you cannot consume your own alcohol in public areas as that would violate the terms of our liqour license; but you can of course consume your own alcohol in your room. Drinks, beer, and wine are in fact available at any time, not just during limited hours. You just have to ask at reception or in one of the dining rooms. There is a cocktail hour starting at 6:30 pm before dinner service, but this does not mean drinks are not available at other times. Snacks are also available throughout the day. There is indeed a single seating time for dinner at 7:30 pm. We hope you will return to Trout Point, and thank you for the 4-stars!
