„We recently stayed at the Salerno Lake Cottage with our family, and it was absolutely lovely. The lake view from the dock, porch, and even inside the cottage was stunning. It was the perfect getaway for our family to relax and enjoy nature. The cottage was well-equipped with a paddle board, kayaks, and a canoe. Just a quick note: it can get a bit warm during the hot weather, so I recommend bringing some fans to stay comfortable. However, it does cool down nicely at night with the windows ...

„Beautiful place with friendly owners who are great with communicating. Bancroft is a beautiful, quaint little town, the perfect getaway to truly unwind. The bed was big and very comfy, everything was very clean and well thought out. If I were to say anything negative it would be that the duct cleaning services could use a call, but it truly is the perfect place.“

„We enjoyed our location for our group Motorcycle ride .The accommodations were great for the 10 people having A/C to cool off end of day was key. But the 1 zone made the downstairs cold -the upstairs cooler. The advertised pool table was unusable -no tips on the sticks.“

„In Huntsville area to visit with grandchildren. Booked this location for the close proximity to Huntsville, for the lake, water activities (kayaks, paddle boards) and pet friendly. Could not have asked for a better location !! The Windermere is a bit rustic, but well appointed and we loved it. Can’t wait to visit again !!! Also, the cleaning staff, especially Miss Lady, were wonderful - Thank you !“

„The cabin was equipped with everything needed to make us comfortable. Nice deck with a view of the water through the trees. Across the dirt road and down a staircase there is a dock, lots of deck chairs and an awesome private beach. We will definitely stay again.“

„We arrived at the cottage and there was a strange odour in the room. Then we noticed the furnishings were tattered and the cottage itself was poorly maintained. And though we paid we left after 10 minutes refusing to stay in this inferior cottage. We are now awaiting a refund.“

„We had a few issue with a few things we had to bring our own pots and weren’t told about it so had to go get our own. The owner had some bad previous renters so for the first few days I kept getting messages about what we were doing and where things were coming from. So he was watching us on his cameras. But once i mentioned it to him he stopped messages don’t know if he stopped watching or not but. Other then that we had a huge rain/thunderstorm our first day there the Monday and we lost power ...

„Stayed here as part of a group of eight friends. The main room is beautiful and we loved hanging out there when we weren't sipping coffee on the dock. There was also plenty of space indoors and outdoors to spread out throughout the day, with lots of things to do (as described in the listing). „This property was very clean but dated. We had a good restful time. The old Wigemog Inn is next door. In the thirties it was going place with the likes of Jimmy Dorsey playing there. The rich would come from Toronto to stay the summer. The Inn has been left to rot by its last owner. It looks like a eyesore. As a result investment in upgrading at Haliburton Heights has been put on hold till they get the inn demolished.“
