„Friendly and welcoming staff. Unexpected room upgrade upon arrival which was wonderful. If you want charm in a beautiful Highlands locale along the whisky trail, this is it. Dinner was incredibly delicious in the hotel's dining room. Their chef is out of this world. Bar has every whisky known to man ... kidding of course, but they are well stocked and knowledgeable. We stayed one night and wished we had booked a longer visit. It was meant to be a stop on our way out of a two day drive through ...

„I got two single rooms really cheap and knew in advance that some parts are under construction. Rooms were clean but basic (one ensuite, the other shared bath) and perfect for a night or two. The breakfast was very good and with sea view. It would be nice if it was not instant coffee, but for the overall price I didn't expect that and was rather surprised. I'll be back, if I need to stay in the area again.“

Ganz besonders begeistert hat uns die tolle Auswahl an Frühstücksgerichten die von den beiden Betreibern komplett frisch zubereitet wird. Ein echt toller Service. Einfach ankommen und wohl fühlen.“

„The Laichmoray is a great hotel with a lot of very friendly people that made my stay a lovely experience. Sometimes seagulls can wake you up, but this does not happen everyday. ;) It's clean and quiet - everything I needed for a week. Don't forget to try the bar that offers a lot of whiskeys. „We stayed three nights at the Hotel Square in Tomintoul. Although this is an older facility which could use a few updates to rugs, curtains, etc., we were very happy there. The hotel is clean, beds are super comfortable and the rooms are large and supplied with everything we needed. Breakfast was very good! Most importantly, the staff was friendly and helpful, providing great service. We had a lovely stay!“
