„The house was beautiful- views were super pretty! So many great qualities of the house - happy just to relax and spend alot of time on the beach and prepare meals was easy with the great open kitchen and great dining area! Beds were super comfy and we all had our own privacy and space! Loved the quiet neighborhood and being so close to Duck was a plus. Owner was super informative with quick responses. Would go back again for sure!!“

„Located a tad closer to the village than the beach, it was a short enough walk to each. All rooms/bedrooms were comfortable and functional. Tons of bathrooms. Easy access to an indoor bathroom directly from pool area. One of the best I've stayed at in 15 years. Wine/beer under-counter fridge was a great touch. I have one complaint with almost all rentals - no sharp knives for food prep. I always bring a knife sharpener and one of my good chef knives.“

The extra amenities the community had we definitely took advantage of and enjoyed. The location was perfect and walkable to so many nice things in downtown Duck. „I have been coming to the OBX for over 25 years. This was one of my favorite houses we have ever stayed in. The layout of the house was great. The best part of the house was how well stocked it was. There was everything you could possibly need and more. It was also very clean. The location to the beach was wonderful. We loved our stay!“

„We enjoyed the location, easy walk between the beach and shops. House is very spacious allowing nice areas to get together and spaces to separate as well—teens need their places away from parents. Place was very clean and looks to be taken care of. Owner also checked in early to ensure the place met our expect. All good!“

"The location is beautiful especially with the priveate beach access. Also the main building l9kks nice and well maintained. Our room was in one of the side buildings. There as soon as you leave the room itself it feels a bit dirty and worn down. The doors and walls in the hallway have bumps and scratches. The carpet is torn and has stains. But the worst are the stair cases. The windows are covered with spider webs and dead bugs. All of this could be avoided easily and would lead to a better impression."
