The hotel itself is beautiful, and the service during our stay was pleasant. We had booked half board, but arrived late on the first day (10 PM), after all restaurants had closed. To make up for the missed dinner, the hotel offered a complimentary room service meal, which we appreciated.
However, we were later shocked to find 480 AED (approx. €120) charged to our bill for that very meal. We had written confirmation via WhatsApp from the hotel’s e-butler that it would be free of charge.
Since then, we’ve sent eight emails to resolve the issue — attaching all evidence — but have received no response whatsoever, even three weeks after check-out.
This lack of communication and accountability from such a high-end hotel is extremely disappointing and has left us with a very negative final impression.
