„Our extended family enjoyed our stay! Fixed great dinners in the well equipped kitchen and BBQ. Very clean and neat house, short walk down to the river. We enjoyed a Kayak trip on the river and a bike ride on a local PA Rail Trail. Communication with the host was great - highly recommended place to stay!!“

„The location is amazing, as is the host. The downside is how outdated and under maintained the house is. The site says infers it is recently updated but that’s just a new floor (poor quality) and new countertops. The screen doors on the sliding door are broke, huge cobwebs in the top of the ceiling, the basement screen door is held closed with a rock, the laundry is creepy, etc. The trees are overgrown, and no drapes for privacy in the second property. „The house had every thing we needed except for a working DVD player. The beds were good and the house was comfortable. The owner was quick to respond to my questions. “

„Emporium is an old town so we knew ahead of time the home was going to be older. I think they did a nice job bringing it up to date considering its age. Beds were fairly comfortable. The detergent used for the comforter was a bit strong. Fridge's water/ice machine didn't seem to work but there was fresh water in the fridge for us guests.
