⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely disappointing stay — beware of bugs and no A/C
We had a really bad experience at Best Western Plus Paradise Hotel Dilijan. When we first walked into our room, there were already several large bugs inside because the cleaning staff had apparently left the door open. I’m terrified of bugs, so that already ruined the start of our stay.
Then we found out the rooms don’t have air conditioning — they only turn it on during summer. No matter what buttons we pressed, only the heater worked. We accidentally made the room feel like a sauna, almost 100 degrees inside! When we came back from our outing, it was unbearably hot, and there were even more bugs on the walls.
We asked to change rooms, but the staff said the hotel was full and couldn’t do anything except bring us a small fan. Later that night, we called again around 2 AM because we still couldn’t sleep — it was way too hot — and all they could offer was another fan. My sister got so upset that she ended up sitting in the cold lobby in the middle of the night because she couldn’t stay in that room anymore.
Overall, it was an awful experience — between the bugs, the heat, and the unhelpful response from the staff, we would never stay here again.
