It was perfect for our needs, as we did spend a lot time fishing while it was close to a workshop a couple of signed up for. I would definitely recommend a nice stay at Lakeside Boathouse. Luisa looks after this property and she is amazing and her communication skills are 10 out 10.“

„This unloved house had inadequate amenities (e.g. kitchen utensils were lacking, pans were uneven making cooking difficult). We arrived in height of summer and the house was a sauna (no AC), making for a very uncomfortable stay. One of the nights, backyard neighbour from hell blasted music at max volume from dusk till after 2am (speakers were directly pointing to our bedrooms and living area), we had 3 young kids who were not able to sleep. The sofa was sagging and lumpy, the mattresses were ...

„Very happy with accommodation and location.“

„Location was good, being walking distance to One Mile Beach and the sand dunes. There were also a couple of coffee shops within walking distance. The accommodation was not very clean. There was a smell of dog, sticky carpet, stains and lots of dust behind the mattresses and in the toilet area. Price was reasonable but even for an older furnished house the cleanliness issue was not expected.“

„Such a beautiful location. We didn't have to go anywhere. Beach right in front and the house had everything. Was quite surprised by the full kitchen pantry. Also, loaded with books, games and toys. Kids absolutely loved it. They didn't want to leave! Wished we had a few more days. Time passed by too quickly.“

Beach and bush walks, our Jack Russels feel at home. Evelyn and Kerry are kindness itself and incredibly helpful with tips on local fare!“

„We had a wonderful break at Crowdy Head House. The location is perfect! Directly across the road from the beach which stretches for about 19km - and that means there’s always space to get away from other beach goers (even in busy times). The house looks quirky, but is comfortable and has a rooftop eyrie from which you can enjoy sunset drinks with ocean views. Besides the quiet perfection of the beach, there’s the proximity to National parks and interesting historical locations - great walks ...
