„Es war dieses Mal unser fünfter Aufenthalt in Cholchester, sodass wir die Gegend bereits sehr gut kannten. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und idyllisch an direkter Wassefront. Cholchester ist mit dem Auto in ca. 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Oberflächlich ist das Haus sauber, nur beim genaueren Hinsehen und Nutzen der Küche waren zum Beispiel deutliche Fettanhaftungen an der Dunstabzugshaube und nicht gut gereinigtes Besteck festzustellen. „Such a cute, cosy and well equipped hideaway. Great location for exploring the area. Lovely bedroom with comfortable bed. Extensive collection of reading material to browse and enjoy. The little local store a few paces away had everything needed to stock up and the hotel/ pub The Fleece was perfect for a drink in the evening.“

Clay tiles on ground floor make the floor cold so bring slippers in low season. Some very low beams so tall people beware. Couldn't light the gas fire though. Surprised to find slow-moving bees on window sills or on floor each day when returning from day out.“
