I attempted to rectify this situation with the property management directly, but have not been successful.Unfortunately, the condition of the unit was far below acceptable standards. The flooring was both dirty and visibly deteriorating, with sections lifting and a piece missing near the vanity. Walking throughout the unit, the subflooring felt unstable. Additionally, there was a noticeable line of pink mold on the shower curtain. The only areas that appeared clean were those that seemed to have been recently installed, such as the bathroom vanity and parts of the kitchen.The check-in process was also confusing. We received multiple messages, both from the mobile number and through VRBO, indicating that a digital lock code would be provided. However, there was no digital lock on the unit. Had I not reached out to clarify our early check-in, it is unclear whether we would have received the correct instructions for accessing the physical key lockbox.Upon arrival, there was no available parking, which forced us to use the adjacent paid public parking. This issue could likely be prevented with a designated parking pass system to ensure only authorized guest vehicles occupy the property’s parking.While the communication and parking challenges are concerns, the overall condition and cleanliness of the unit are significantly more serious. The state of the property was such that we considered leaving and finding alternate accommodations for the night.I recommend NOT booking here
