Nasty

Where do I start? Stains and burn marks on the walls. Stained towels in the bathroom. Stains on the bed sheets. The carpet was filthy. And to top it off there were flying bugs in the room. Also, there was a double bed instead of the queen I had thought I was getting. THEN a vagrant knocked on my door and begged for money. Had It not been late and I exhausted I'd have left. I got out of there as fast as I could at first light. They're lucky I let them keep my $50.

Wet mattress and bedding. Clerk wanted to get clean linen. Refused. Toilet flushing issues.

Who owns this place?

The mattress and box springs had holes in them, my tv was a old box style tv that didn't work, I went to the store and came back to find my room door wide open!! No I'm there.. that's inexcusable!!

So many flys the bed should be in the garage didn't get a good night sleep we wouldn't recommend this place to anyone I know TV didn't work at all smell like someone was smoking in the room

We didn't stay.

We reserved a nonsmoking room, but all we could smell were cigarettes when we opened the door. It felt dirty. The staff was not accommodating. The pool was closed. We saw other people having issues with check in. We found a great Quality Inn to stay at instead.

Argument at hotel

Came in and there was an argument with several members of a family who looks like they use the hotel as an alternative to renting/buying a home. It was unnerving. They offered a discount on my next stay... but, it was not a very clean hotel and not in the best part of town.

Some things just remain the same

I used to stay at this property 20 years ago. Thought I would give it a try since it was listed on Hotels.com. It really hasn't changed in 20 years! I know they are trying, but it was not a comfortable stay for many reasons.

The people at the desk were nice, but the room was filthy in some areas and the toilet didn't flush right. It was better than most rooms I've stayed in before there, and it was warm but I spotted a roach just hanging out underneath the telephone and there was a lot of traffic coming in and out at all hours of the night. Didn't seem like a very safe place.

I would never stay there again the hotel was nasty and the outside was ghetto. They had bugs and no clean towels or sheets. Thought I was going to get robbed before I even got to my room. Lock on room door didn't work. I couldn't sleep so I checked out and went back home

DO NOT STAY AT QUAD CITY INN - YOU WILL BE SORRY!

DO NOT STAY AT THE QUAD CITY INN IN DAVENPORT, IOWA. This is by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I showed up for my room at close to 2:30 am. The woman at the front desk was definitely bothered by the fact that she had to take care of me. When I got to my room I was overcome by the smoke smell in the room. I requested a non-smoking room I went back to the front desk to request a new room. When I got there the woman was nowhere to be found. After 20 minutes of waiting for the clerk she was angry and told me that I should just put up with the smoky room. I understand the policy on preferences maintained by hotels.com, but this was not that - the hotel clerk had plenty of non-smoking rooms, she just didn't want to give me one - she felt it was more important to do laundry than take care of a customer. She has forgotten how her paycheck gets paid. I left the key on the desk and left the hotel and went up the road to a place with friendly staff and nice rooms - Motel 6. At any rate, DON'T STAY AT QUAD CITY INN. You'll be sorry - the $10 you can save is not worth it. On the plus side, the help from Tanner at hotels.com was FANTASTIC. He made things right and refunded my money for the room.

very bad !!!!! Sh%t hole

First have to thank clerk I think he tried to tell us to go!!!! no reservation. Should have went then , every thing after that , went down hill . no parking !!! Cars burning tires off in parking lot , noisy people , went to get computer in car almost got mugged in parking lot . Bed bad , restroom dirty , no towels . Felt not safe at all !!! women crying outside people making noise!!! When we left in morning Pimp taking John and 3 hookers to room !! DO NOT STAY HERE !!!!!!!!

Worst hotel experience ever.

By far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The outside condition of the hotel looked like it should be condemned. The hotel staff barely spoke any English at all, and all the residents looked like they've been living there for a very long time.
