Toller Blick über Darwin
Wir kamen erst um Mitternacht an, wurden aber erwartet und freundlich empfangen. Das Zimmer auf den 19. Stock bot einen tollen Blick auf Darwin. Da wir nur eine Nacht blieben, nutzten die vollständig eingerichtete Küche und die "Waschküche" nicht, wäre aber alled vorhanden gewesen. Die Lage ist etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums aber das Zentrum ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Umgebung erschien uns aber eher einsam.

Recht zentral gelegenes Hotel mit tollem Personal. Das Zimmer war groß und angenehm hell. Leider kein kostenloses WLAN, dafür kann man kostenlos an 2 PCs in der Lobby surfen. Das Frühstück war so lala. Insgesamt nett.

The check in process was terrible. Took forever, had to park my car in a bus parking area, then had to conduct a u turn in amongst traffic and go around the block to find the hotel parking. Staff forgot to give me code for parki g and my room number. Our room however was great as is the location of the hotel

It was good having so much space more like a flat than a room. I thought housekeeping should have come around more frequently to empty the bins as cooking for yourself you generate a fair bit of rubbish. The room was cool on arrival. The window was dirty. Close to shops and right in the heart of the cbd. Friendly cafe in the complex.

Was a great place to stay. Disappointed that the pool was being upgraded and nothing on website to tell us it was unavailable before booking it would be out. Booked a room with a king bed, but bed was clearly a queen. Small things I know but overall would stay there again.

I always stay here when in town - there is only one thing that annoys me, the charge of $200 deposit. I have already paid for my room in advance - so why am I being charged another $200 that doesnt get recredited to my credit card until the end of the month? Its not like i could be stealing anything from the fridge - there is no minibar just a little box of milk. Any room service could be immediately booked against a card. It just seems a bit dishonest of a hotel to hotel to needlessly hold onto $200 from literally hundreds and hundreds of customers a month. What guest is going to check their credit card payments the next month to make sure the refund has arrived. Its really treating guests disrespectfully, telling every guest they are a potential thief snd may checkout with a bedside lamp in their luggage. Surely the hotel has insurance for actual theft? A very bad guest experience being asked for this money, especially after already having paid in advance, and being a regular guest!

Unfortunately, this is a policy that we need to have in place in case there are damages in the rooms - it would be awesome if every one was like you though.As for the hold, please note that this hold never comes to our bank account. It actually stays with your bank. Aircon didn’t work in the first room which took a lot of convincing to the front desk but by 9.30pm they realised it wasn’t working by this time we had sweated enough. Then was downgraded with the next room. We have used mantra pandanas for the last ten years and also are members of the Accor group as we are Darwinites that work and live remote. Sunday 26/10/2023 will be the last time we set foot inside that building ever again it’s been turned into a glorified workers camp.

We checked in late around 9.30pm, and checked out before 10.00am. So our stay was very short, but once we found the hotel and car park, it’s was good. Great access to car park and our room 👍

The hotel was lovely and clean. Staff were very helpful. Only downside was the pool was not available due to renovations. I looked on the notice at the hotel and it said available to use after August. I booked in October and was still under renovations. Was easy access to everything from eateries, shops and beach. .

Godt hotel, dårlig modtagelse
Dejligt hotel med god beliggenhed. Dog oplevede vi en kedelig ting ifb. med indtjekningen. Vi lander i Darwin d. 5 sept. ca. 02.,00 om natten. Vi bliver et par timer i lufthavnen da vi først kan chekke ind fra kl. 14.00. Efter et par timer i lufthavnen, vælger vi at tage en taxa til hotellet, for at stille vores bagage og evt. betale for et værelse indtil 14.00. Der var desværre ingen ledige værelser hvilket er forståeligt nok - MEN vi kunne heller ikke få lov til at stille vores bagage, og blev henvist til et nærliggende hotel som måske kunne hjælpe. Også forgæves. Måtte således sidde udenfor hotellet og vente på at en kaffebar åbnede. Derefter prøvede vi igen at stille vores baggage på hotellet, denne gang med bedre held.

Renu is the assistant manger there and she provided exceptional service while my partner and I stayed for a few nights after moving from Perth. She provided a friendly and efficient service and allowed for flexibility with our time of stay which made it a lot less stressful for us and made for a pleasant stay.

We choose this hotel due to the pool - but the pool was closed, and are clearly closed for a long period. They still advertise with the pool, even though they know it isn’t available. So we paid full price, and didn’t have a pool or spa-area… pretty disappointed.

Great location but the rooms were really expensive. During our stay our rooms were not serviced, and the pool was closed for renovations (despite having been advertised on the Wotif website). Would have preferred to stay somewhere else if I’d know this was going to be my experience.

The swimming pool has been closed for renovation since beginning of April and we anticipate the completion of works around end of October if all goes as planned.In regards to housekeeping, though the accommodation package did not include a daily housekeeping service, our team would gladly replenish amenities, refresh towels and remove rubbish upon request.We hope to have the opportunity to welcoming you again in future for a much-improved experience.Sincerely,Terence
