„Check-in was easy and the house was very clean. If you like a location in a peaceful setting in the woods listening to a babbling brook, this is the perfect house for your stay. It is a short drive to the NOC but worth the serenity. Lots of porch area for family hangout, and places to hang boat gear for drying.“

„We spent the Memorial Day weekend at Barbara’s well maintained, beautiful and perfectly located property. The house was in great shape, beautiful kitchen, great living room, great bedrooms for our friends and our 4 kids altogether - in particular, we loved the outdoor space enjoying the nature, yet super conveniently located in close proximity to Highlands downtown. „Excellent experience overall! The home was outstanding with a spectacular view of the lake and mountains. Multiple outdoor seating areas allowed us to take advantage of the beautiful weather each afternoon and evening. Very quiet and peaceful. The host communication was excellent with quick responses and offers to assist with anything during our stay. This was one of the best experiences in our years of hiking trips to western NC.
