„One (probably the smallest) of several lodgings on the property. Overall, a pretty cool place to stay. The whole unit has a subtle sway to rock you to sleep. Personally, I loved it. We stayed in 90 degree weather and the A/C was a LIFESAVER. My only real complaint was one of the other guests in the castle kept leaving the common kitchen a bit messy. Thinking about coming back and trying the hobbit house. We pretty much kept to ourselves, but there are plenty of common areas to hang out.“

„Very clean and private. Amenities are up to date and stylish. Host are polite and easy to contact. They respond promptly. You will need a 4W drive, as they suggest. Very unique and peaceful. They provide cookware, towels, kitchen appliances and even coffee. The hot top is clean and maintaned. Love the hamock style swing. Fire wood and all needs to start the fire in the fire pit provided. Made it simple. It was a little more expensive then we normally would spend. But it was our 25th anniversary ...

„House was great and had everything we needed. Highly recommend. Large and private, but not quite secluded. Can see other houses. Mountain driveway is not to be underestimated. 4WD required and need tall clearance under car. It is 1-car wide and challenged when you meet another car coming the other way. Close enough to both Shenandoah for outdoor activities and C’ville for city attractions. Cleanliness great! Communication easy and prompt. “

„Our stay was great. The location is perfect - close to Charlottesville but also quiet and a little bit away from the center of activity. We discovered some great places in Crozet, too. Check-in was super easy, and the place was fun and quirky. Our hosts were excellent. We had a minor issue on day two and the host responded within 10 minutes and had the problem fixed in less than an hour. We had a great trip and we loved the place. “

„We spent a wonderful week here with three generations of family and the house was wonderful! There were enough spaces for different groups to hang out while still allowing for everyone to be together. „Absolutely LOVED everything about our stay. The house is beautiful. Everything was well stocked. The towels feel amazing and there were plenty available. Check-in and out was seamless. The location was perfect - far enough away to be secluded and private but still close to things we wanted to do. We really enjoyed the hot tub at night and enjoying the view from the porch in the mornings. We will definitely be booking again soon! “

„We are six women in our 40s who do an annual weekend away and this house was perfect for us. Its a beautiful home with expansive windows that let in lots of light and surrounded by trees on all sides. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed, included a well stocked kitchen with cooking utensils and pots and pans. The owners were very responsive and communicative. Inside wintergreen resort and very convenient to hikes and overlooks. Recommend. “
