„This is a gem of an inn, located just a stone’s throw from the castle walls. The woman who runs it is a delight; friendly and helpful. The room and bed were comfortable and well stocked with teas and coffees and the like. The food - both dinner and breakfast - were excellent. It’s an older building so expect occasionally creaking floors (although they are carpeted) and low ceilings, but that just adds to the charm. Highly recommended if you can spend a night in Harlech. “

It is in a picturesque qnd quiet area, and while not in a town, not far to drive for shops etc. The Cottage had a fully equipped kitchen including a slow cooker, stove top, microwave, dishwasher and full oven. The washing machine and dryer were very welcome. The lounge room was also well equipped with free Netflix, and the cottage had good wifi and TV signals. The bed is a double, but comfy.
