„“Special Weekend Getaway” for Nana & Granddaughter. The “Container Cabin” was an absolute pleasure to enjoy & experience together. Very tastefully done, decorated and special thought was given for items guests may need. Our stay was short but very meaningful for us both. „Very charming cabin and decorated authentically. We were very comfortable and also treated to an afternoon snack upon arrival as well as tasty breakfast items for each day. We enjoyed a walk down the road by the stream, but unable to canoe in the lake. Our host and hostess were very nice and friendly and very accommodating. Delightful experience. We enjoyed a visit to Bernheim Forest and rode the Bluegrass rail bike in Versailles.“

„This place is everything the pictures advertise. We used it all except the fire pit which we would have if it hadn’t been so hot outside. The out buildings are air conditioned and lots of fun. We brought our own puzzles and they fit great on the bar areas in the game room. We caught some fish in the pond, made use of the hammocks, played games in both of the out buildings, swam in the pool, enjoyed the hot tub, and there was plenty of room for 11 people of different ages in the house. Put a light over the mirror in the bathroom and a grab bar around the bathtub. We needed bedding for the pull out couch bed and some kitchen trash bags for the trash can in the kitchen. We also needed automatic dishwasher pods. Otherwise we will be back to enjoy the beautiful cabin. “

"After staying at the Crowne Plaza for the past 19 years and the last time 6 years ago it was again renovated. But it looks like kind of sloppy, and some of the Design choices were nauseating ( look at the picts). But the room was clean, the bathroom brand new. The new restaurant, Al‘s Table was better than the one before, but a bit understaffed. An experience you find also elsewhere. Food was fine, only the Cornbread, a southern staple, was underwhelming. Friendly service, at Dinner time a bit hectic for the reasons mentioned before. Three and a half stars ***1/2* "
