It was great having two motorized fishing boats. The fishing was very so-so. We caught mostly pickerel and some smaller sized smallmouth bass but it was a bit slow and we would often go many hours in between bites. Gary was fantastic. „The place was absolutely perfect for us. So comfortable, super clean, and well-appointed. They have an amazingly stocked kitchen with every appliance you could need as well as so many kitchen staples. There are plenty of blankets, pillows, towels, toiletry items, the works, really! We spent our honeymoon here, watching the total solar eclipse, exploring Salmon River Falls, and enjoying the gorgeous dark night sky full of stars. „We were happy with the beautiful house and the location. We chose this location based on the “extras” like the pool and hot tub. So we were a little disappointed that the hot tub was not in working condition. It ended up being a colder and rainy weekend so we couldn’t enjoy the pool either (but that couldn’t be helped). Property owner was pleasant and easy to contact.“
