Beautifully styled and modern 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage style home only meters walk (less than 2 min walk) from beautiful Wallis Lake.

Lakeside Boathouse is a Pet friendly accommodation.

Main bedroom is spacious, light and airy, complete with stylish Fourposter bed, sitting area, ensuite and walk-in-wardrobe. This bedroom opens onto the the front deck area.
2nd bedroom is spacious, light, airy and styled for comfort with sitting area and built-in-wardrobe. This bedroom also opens onto your own front deck area.

There is a Koala Sofa bed (double bed size) located in the living room.

The main bathroom has a free standing bath tub, large shower and is equipped with a hairdryer and straightener.

A modern and fully equipped kitchen, where you’ll find all you need, including dishwasher, as well as coffee machine and NutriBullet to make your morning smoothies. The breakfast bar opens to slip and fold window overlooking the large elevated patio which has a partial lake view and looks over the lush green garden.
Lakeside Boathouse is located in tranquil Coomba Park and is only a 200mtr walk from beautiful Wallis Lake.

Open plan living/dining (dining table seats 6) with slip and fold doors opening onto large patio which has a partial lake view and is perfect for a BBQ or just taking in the sunset with a drink after a day out on the water. There is an outdoor table that seats 8.
We have an outdoor Fire pit area which is the perfect place to unwind with your favourite drink, while roasting marshmallows.
A grassy enclosed backyard to enjoy a game of sport or watch the kids play.
The laundry has a washing machine and dryer.
Double carport, large enough to fit a boat and car, as well as more off street parking.

Turn off The Lakes Way onto Coomba Rd where the drive is scenic, lined with palm trees amongst a deep forest of Eucalypt. This little paradise in the Pacific Palms region is just so beautiful.
Coomba Park is a pretty little Lakeside Village on Wallis Lake where you’ll find a large resident Kangaroo population, you’ll almost always see them hanging around the front of the house.
The Lakefront has an enclosed netted swimming area, lots of green space/grassy park areas, as well as a playground for the kids, boat ramp and a number of jetty’s dotted around the lake for fishing, Kayaking etc. There is a walking track that skirts the lakes edge and a General Store where you can get essential supplies. Coomba Park also has an Aquatic Club and Tennis courts, both only a few minutes walk from the house. All this under 3.5 hours drive from Sydney’s CBD or 1.5 hours from Newcastle.
Boomerang, Elizabeth and Bluey's Beach are only 20 minutes drive away.
Seal Rocks is 25 mins away and Forster Tuncurry is a leisurely 35min drive or 10 minutes by boat.
Wallis Lake is sandwiched between Wallingat National Park and Booti Booti National Park where you’ll find The famous Green Cathedral.

Immaculate little cottage

The Lakeside Boathouse was perfect for our needs. It is exceptionally clean, well-decorated, with comfortable beds! There were only two of us, and although the property is listed for up to six people, it would have been quite cosy with even four people unless the weather allowed sitting outside.As stated in the description, the house is not actually on the lake, and it's worth noting that the location is very quiet and quite a distance from shops and beaches.

Peaceful holiday in a quiet village

I stayed here with my husband, my parents and my 2 Jack Russell’s. The accommodation was as pictured and deactivated. The bedrooms were spacious and the mattress very comfortable. Bathrooms were modern and well laid out. Kitchen had everything we needed and lots of bench space for meal preparations however it would have been helpful to have a larger fridge but we made do with an esky. Wifi was a great connection at the house and the big tv had Netflix. The town itself is quite small, under 1000 people and we found it so quiet and relaxing. Lots of areas to explore along the shore line. We walked everywhere and also used our sups to get over to the aquatic centre for Wednesday dinner. Our dogs settled into the accommodation really well, and they enjoyed watching out the front doors and windows at the local wildlife. We would have appreciated having screens on the doors so as to allow airflow, we could not have the doors open during our stay because of our dogs

Lakeside Boathouse

Lakeside Boathouse is a cosy property. It is for two couples to get away to a quiet, peaceful place. It was perfect for our needs, as we did spend a lot time fishing while it was close to a workshop a couple of signed up for. I would definitely recommend a nice stay at Lakeside Boathouse. Luisa looks after this property and she is amazing and her communication skills are 10 out 10.

Great Communication from Host

Spacious bedrooms with very comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Living areas only suitable for a couple as very small. Property manager Luisa communicated regularly. The main reason we have given this property 4 stars is that it is overlooked by neighbouring properties so there is a lack of privacy. We enjoyed exploring the area - favourites were Seal Rocks and Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse.

Lovely place to stay

Really lovely property with a fabulous property manager (owner). Luisa was absolutely amazing to deal with, she responded to any questions immediately and went out of her way to send us additional info she thought we'd find useful. The property is lovely, with an enclosed garden which was great for our Staffy, Loki. So we could let him roam free in the garden without having to worry about him. The property is right near the lake, and in short driving distance to some lovely beaches, shops and markets. Would definitely stay here again. Our only issue during our stay was that it was incredibly hot the first two days, and the umbrella on the patio wouldn't open up, so we weren't able to sit outside. But there is airconditioning which was a blessing. Had a lovely stay, thanks Luisa.

Lovely spot in Coomba Park

The house is beautifully appointed, with everything you need and tastefully done. The only thing that was a little surprise for me (and it might be my fault for not looking more closely), but the photos imply that the property is lakeside, whereas, while the property is quite close to the water the views from the verandah are just of the backyard. None-the-less it is an easy walk to the reserve where you can can the water taxi to Forster, and to the general store for any essentials. We had a lovely time and the host Luisa was very easy to deal with. Thee welcoming committee of kangaroos on the street was a particular delight!

Hats off to Luisa who is the owner of the property! The house was beautifully decorated, maintained really well, and kept immaculately clean. I also loved how the check in was an hour earlier (2pm) than most accommodations and the check out was an hour later (11am). Luisa was very easy when it came to house rules and we felt like we were really on a holiday when we stayed there. I couldn't ask for anything more.

Perfect for out of town down time

Luisa’s communication was fantastic. The property is great. A street from the lake and a short drive or walk to a swimming area. Great to see some kangaroos bouncing around the town to feed. The drive to Forster is a big one so if you’re looking for something close to town, just be patient for the drive. Overall, we had a really great weekend and had most things we needed. Thank you.

Lakeside stay.

Luisa was very good with her communication which made our stay easier. The property was very nice and very well equipped. An added bonus was being close to the lakeside walking track with lots of wildlife including many kangaroos and some owls which I discovered in a tree.
