„I stayed in Cabin 2 for two nights during the Forget-Me-Knot Festival in Cooke City on August 16 & 17. The cabin was quite spacious and very clean. I didn't use the kitchenette much, but it seemed to be well-stocked. It is close to everything but then, Cooke City is small. The nights I was there, it was quiet; the cabin is a bit off the main street that runs through town. I went to Yellowstone National Park two mornings and was back in time for the festival. „Silver Gate Lodging is located only 2-3 miles from the NE entrance to Yellowstone. The room has been remodeled and was comfortable. The property manager greeted us promptly at the counter in the General Store. She gave us a quick rundown of other businesses nearby for food, coffee, etc. She offered free internet while sitting on the General Store front porch. The other guests were very friendly with a community type atmosphere around the fire pit. The Log Cabin Cafe across the road is delicious ...
