We stayed in Room 1, and the view was absolutely breathtaking—a stunning way to take in the beauty of Isla Contadora. The room was spacious and clean, and the piña coladas were delicious. The hotel clearly had its glory days, and the charm is still there, but it could benefit from some updates.
There are cracked walls and windows, a leaky sink pipe, and the banister on the balcony of Room 1 needs immediate repair—it poses a real safety concern. A fresh coat of paint and general maintenance would go a long way in restoring its former splendor.
While the food was good, prices are on the high side compared to other great options on the island. For the price of the rooms, a complimentary bottle of water would be a thoughtful touch.
That said, the location, views, and overall atmosphere made it worth the stay—with a little TLC, this place could truly shine again.
