„We had a get together with family who haven’t seen each other in several years. The house was perfect for us as it had plenty of space, lots of bedrooms/bathrooms, making it a very comfortable stay even with a large group. The communication with the property manager was great! She was responsive and very nice! I would recommend this house! “

„Absolutely gorgeous lodge in a stunning and peaceful location. So handy. Close to all our usual haunts in Keswick but the setting makes you feel like you are wonderfully cut off from the world and I mean that in the best possible way. The lodge was super well equipped and the WiFi was better than at home! Tackled a few more Wainwrights while we were there. Would not hesitate to return to the site. The only minor blip was that there were workers fixing the electrics for some time when we arrived ...

„We have had three pretty days at the Bassenthwaite Lake Side Lodge. Everything was successfully. We loved to sit outside on the terracce. It is such a quite, peacefull place. Two times we walked to the Pub "Sun in" in Bassenthwaite it is a halfe hour walk away.“

„We really enjoyed our stay. The lodge was perfect and the location was great. We were able to get the bus into Windermere and Bowness in the evenings (the bus stop is on the top road very near to the holiday park). We would definitely recommend this lodge.“

„Nice caravan, situated close to all amenities, if you have stayed in a Haven Park before this caravan would be classed as a Bronze accommodation, to give you the comparison if you were to book your stay with Haven direct. Weather was great, park very busy with the weekend campers (tents) this area was packed, kids play park was a free for all, I would say too small for the amount of families staying onsite, wonder what the middle of summer holidays would be like when all caravans and camping ...

„Loved the property and location and the owner of the property was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay immensely. Only problem with the holiday was being able to communicate with the property management company as they could not contact us as they had wrong email information. It did not matter in the end as we spoke to the property owner and he was very helpful and obliging.“

„The views and location amazing, very quiet and relaxing. The property itself is looking a little tired, the garden overgrown, but the balcony made up for it, sadly no sunsets the 3 evenings but morning warm sunshine was lovely overlooking the bay. We enjoyed our break away. “

„I might have misread the blurb, was expecting a kitchenette and a full size fridge so was surprised to find just a kettle and mini fridge. My room was one of the tiny ones which was expected, room was clean as was shower & toilet. Bed was a single but comfy, slept like a baby although the 14 miles walked helped! Nice pub next door with quiz on Thursdays! Overall good value, and help only a phone call away. Good location on a quiet road midway between Windermere and Bowness“
