Positiv: Typisches Backpacker-Hostel in schönem traditionellem Haus mit sehr nettem und hilfsbereiten Personal. Tolles Bier-Pub direkt nebenan. Zentrale Lage. Negativ: Die Heizung im Zimmer funktionierte nicht richtig, sodass es zu kalt war. Unbequemes Bett. Badezimmer renovationsbedürftig. Zu viele Videoüberwachungskameras in allen öffentlichen Räumen. Grosse Gruppe von lauten Kindern im Hostel.

Buen lugar, limpio, con los servicios necesarios que ofrecería cualquier hostel. Desayuno bueno y completo. Ubicado en el centro de Colonia y muy cerca de todos los atractivos del lugar.

Kleurrijk verblijf. Fijn bed en goede douche. In kamer warm maar in de eetruimte koud. Ontbijt was prima. Super vriendelijk personeel en heel flexibel.

Super hostel, nothing wrong to say!
You can feel directly like at home in this big house full of space (both in rooms and commons), located in a quiet area near the centre and the sea, with all equipments, various and clean bathrooms, nice swimming pool and helpful staffs!

Bed bug infestation - but lovely staff
I woke up covered in bites and spotted several bed bugs in my sheets. That's a travelers nightmare. The staff seemed used to this complaint, they dryed my clothes for free and I used the courtyard to spray down everything else to avoid bringing the critters with me. The staff were very helpful and kind, and also sealed off the room to fumigate it. I also didn't pay for my stay, I just assumed they weren't going to charge me. The rooms are quite old and not very comfortable, breakfast was just toast. I can't recommend this place as I fear they will struggle with this infestation for a while, they seemed sort of resigned to it. I feel bad for leaving a bad review as the staff were so sweet, but with 20 large itchy welts and a day missed debugging my things I really have no choice.

Friendly staff, good location, can be noisy.

A quiet hostel in the early season but comfortable, friendly and social with the guests. The town itself is pretty quiet, but that’s a positive to escape BA’s crazy nights.

Great location
Easy access to cobbled streets, ferry and bus terminal. Although Colonia is not large. Friendly staff, rooftop nice and room comfortable. My bed creaked everytime I rolled over but otherwise comfortable.

Fomos bem recebidos, porem o quarto ficava numa posicao muito desagradavel. Muito caro para pouco retorno. No meu caso que escolhi um quarto casal com banheiro privativo. Caso esteja viajando sozinho e procure um ambiente de hostel, entao, recomendo.

Great location
A good hostel to stay in in Colonia. Just outside the old town. Can walk to the historic sites and also rent bicycles at much cheaper than Thrifty down the street. Not all the staff speaks English, but the woman with the short hair and glasses is very friendly and helpful.

Fijne Upgrade
Mijn reservering was voor een aparte kamer in het hostel. Bij aankomst werd ik keurig geholpen en bood men een gratis upgrade aan naar een b&b om de hoek. Super attent. Wel heb ik tijdelijk gebruik gemaakt van de woonkamer en de keuken van het hostel. Zowel dit als de b&b prima in orde. Dank voor de upgrade!

Os funcionários são atenciosos e fizeram churrasco a noite para unir a galera. Porém as condições do quarto não foram legais. Ficamos num quarto para duas pessoas, a cama era dura e o banheiro tinha um aspecto muito velho e a janela dividia o banheiro com o banheiro lado, fazendo com que, as pessoas que fumavam no banheiro ao lado, a fumaça ia toda para o nosso quarto. As condições do quarto não eram boas. O espaço do café-da-manhã era com e tinha lareira. A localização também foi boa.

Hotel fica bem localizado proporcionando uma logística de deslocamento favorável a diversos pontos interessantes da cidade. Não tem luxo , mas tudo que se precisa para uma estada agradável. Atendimento cordial e café da manhã razoável, pecando mesmo no suco de laranja oferecido com sabor totalmente artificial. Bairro agradável e seguro para caminhadas a noite.

Boa pousada em Colônia del Sacramento
Doutrinários minha estada no El Viajero Posada. Observar que tem o hostel, duas quadras acima e a pousada, com o mesmo nome, na beira do Rio da Prata. Café da manhã básico, mas bom, com suco de laranja natural, croissants e scones, queijo e cereais. O atendimento pelo recepcionista foi ótimo. Ele era brasileiro, chamado Cristóvão. Achei legal o aquecimento, que funciona bem no frio do inverno e o fato de ter rede Globo, justamente num dia de Olimpíadas. Localização excelente, do lado do centrinhos antigo. Ponto negativo: banheiro gelado e antigo demais, merecendo uma reforma.
