Awesome Crabtree Apartment
We always enjoy our time at the Crabtree Apartments. The apartment was sparkling clean. We loved being able to walk out of our private patio onto our almost private beach. Having access to the bicycles made getting around the island convenient. We will definitely be staying at the Crabtree again next year.

Beautiful, private beach, peaceful
Incredible, convenient location, so easy to get around island on golf cart or just walking. Everyone one on island was so friendly. We always felt safe and we really enjoyed the relaxing experience. The water is so beautiful!!

Beautiful, relaxing beachfront
This is the most beautiful spot! The apartment is very clean and it was nice that they leave you eggs, butter, milk, and bread to get started with. They are stocked with spices, pots, and pans. The pickup at the airport by Jack was flawless and we used him a few more times during our stay. The dogs that hang around are very good, they don’t beg for food or bother you unless you reach out to them. We enjoyed the donkey’s, although the dogs do not like them hanging around lol. Having the bicycles was so nice, between that and Jack’s taxi we never even rented a car or golf cart! As was mentioned before, just be aware that the food and alcohol are very expensive at the grocery store and at restaurants. This island is for relaxing as long as you aren’t expecting a lot of options of things to do like around resorts. The best part of the apartment is the back porch area facing the beach. We spent a lot of time out there watching the beautiful water and sunsets. Any questions I had were quickly answered by the hosts. Would definitely stay here again!

Crabtree is the best!!
The apartments could not be more perfect for a relaxing beach getaway. We absolutely loved our time on Grand Turk. Good size for four guests, well appointed amenities, and a great central location. Not to mention what felt like the best beach on the island! It was hard to leave!

Great time at Crabtree
We arrived late on Christmas Day. We ordered dinner from the graceway, Jessalyn arranged for our transportation and someone to deliver the food as we arrived after the store was closed The place is beautiful and the beach is right outside the door. We rented a golf cart for the week from Jack and he delivered it to us. Would love to come back Highly recommend Crabtree apartments Restaurants : Arches Sandbar Osprey Grand Turk inn Barbies- a great local spot Cruise port- meh Come here to unwind and listen to the waves outside

This was a third year in a row at the crab tree and really don't see a reason to stop this annual tradition. The apartments are in a prime location with the crystal clear waters at your back door and central location to everything. See you next year!

Absolutely Wonderful
Our stay was everything we hoped for! A great place for a peaceful, beautiful family vacation. We loved the beach, the dogs, the donkeys, the snorkeling, the whale watching and the neighbors. Home is clean, cute, simple… just right. Walking distance to town. Beach to ourselves most of the time. Able to visit cruise center if we needed a jolt of “resort crowds”. We rented a golf cart for the week, which was perfect for our needs…easy to go all over the island. We loved The Sand Bar as a gathering spot…took in snorkeling trips with both Grand Turk Diving and Blue Water Divers. Amazing find on the NE side: Ridge Cafe…and Amanda even set us up with Captain Tim for a successful whale watching trip. We had lovely neighbors in the other two units so were able to have a few fun evening gatherings together….and even went on a snorkeling excursion together! All in all, if you dislike the usual crowded resort experience, Grand Turk and this home are the perfect place for a quieter, laid back get away. We were so sad to leave and would love to go back.

Amazing get away!
Such a wonderful vacation thank you so much! We went to crabtree apartments to celebrate our 19th anniversary and it was so relaxing :) Our first kidless vacation in years. Literally right on the sand with beautiful water views. We rode bikes for the first day but it was a little too hot to explore the island this way. We rented a golf cart for the rest of the week which was perfect. If you like shelling, the northside of the island has tons of them! Especially loved the 4 potcakes (island pups) keeping us company during our stay. So incredibly lovable! We ate out for lunch everyday and grilled at the apartment at night to watch the sunset. The hardware store right by the house has big bags of charcoal which lasted the week. Grocery store location is very convenient as well. We always travel with a carry on cooler and bring frozen meat with us. House came well stocked with spices and cooking supplies! We flew both Cairo express and Intercarribean to get to Grand Turk. Definitely go with Cairo express if you have the option. In our experience it was much more reliable. Highly recommend the Crabtree apartments if you are looking to just kick back and relax! As usual…absolutely incredible!
This is our second year coming and it just keeps getting better. See my review from July 2021. Nothing else to add other than this place continues to be our heaven on earth. There is nothing to do here but enjoy the sun, the crystal clear waters, the coral, the white soft sandy beaches (that the Crabtree, strangely, has all to itself), the food, and the incredibly friendly people. This is officially our annual spot to evolve as humans and looking forward to our trip next year.

Know before you go
Pros: Property is on a beautiful, secluded beach. Water is perfect. Calm and beautiful. Cons: This property is similar to a condo you would rent in Floridia. It's older but well kept. There is no air conditioning in the main living area. There is a good breeze blowing but you have to keep the doors open. The bedrooms have small window units that struggled to keep the bedrooms cool. The shower head and faucets were old, and it was a struggle to figure out how to get hot water. Our biggest complaint was there were no restaurants open unless the cruise ships were in port. Even then they closed at 4PM when the ships left. We only had one option for dinner and ate there every night. We have been traveling the Caribbean islands for 15 years. We would not recommend this property as a great vacation destination nor would return.

Hi Barry, I am sorry you were not able to visit the restaurants. I wish you had let me know, I could have led you in the right direction! There are 5 restaurants in town which is a 10 minute walk and not relevant to the schedule of the cruise ships. Grand Turk is a quiet island which is what some people like. The nice thing about this is the privacy of the beach. Thank you for visiting.

Perfect Island Getaway
Absolutely loved the property. Everything was as described and shown in pictures. It was a perfect way to relax and refresh after the crazy past 2 years. We arrived and there was bread, eggs, butter, milk and oj in the refrigerator which was a wonderful surprise. We had the beach to ourselves and when we weren't on the beach we explored the island on the bikes provided by the owners. Walked to restaurants and downtown and also close to grocery store and liquor store. The management arranged pick up and drop off at the airport and we fell in love the local dogs that hang our in the area. Would love to go back again.

Caribbean Beach Front
The beach and the water just off the back porch were awesome. The cottage had everything you can imagine for a comfortable experience. The rest of the island is very run down. Dogs and donkeys roam freely through streets and neighborhood. The golf cart rental was stolen on the last night of visit. If the only expectation is the comfort of the cottage and the beach, you won't be disappointed. The deep blue line out from the beach is where the ocean drops over 7000 straight down. This is an awesome place for snorkeling and Scooba diving if that is your interest.

Another perfect stay
This is our second time staying at Crabtree. We came as a family and enjoyed it so much we gathered all of our friends and rented all the units! It was perfect, gorgeous sunsets, grilled fish from the fish market and lots of run cocktails. We hope to be back! Thanks for having us, and take good care of our girl Cindy. Wonderful!
This rental was absolutely perfect for our anniversary trip in many ways. The rental was equipped with everything that we could possibly need during our vacation - beach towels, beach chairs, bicycles for our use, stocked kitchen, etc. The host even left provisions for breakfast so we wouldn't have to rush out to grocery shop upon arrival to the island. The ocean views were unbelievable! The ever-changing turquoise waters were beautiful. The ocean/beach front view from the rental allowed for lots of time enjoying the sounds and sights of the ocean surrounding Grand Turk. Lastly, the communication with the owner is the best that I have ever experienced with VRBO. Her responses were very timely, usually we received an answer within minutes. She even set up a taxi pick up from the airport. Mr. Jack was awesome too! I highly recommend this rental!

Perfection!
This was my third trip to Grand Turk. On my second visit I took a walk on the beach, saw the Crabtree Apartments and said, "I'm coming back to the island and staying at the Crabtree!" Because of the pandemic, my visit was delayed by two long years but I finally made it! I travelled with two friends and the Crabtree was a perfect spot for us. One of the group is a scuba diver so it was just a short stroll down the beach each morning to get to the dive boat. A few times I walked with him and we enjoyed breakfast at the Osprey Beach Hotel while looking out at the beautiful water. My non-diving friend and I spent the majority of our time hanging out at the Crabtree. The purpose of this trip was to RELAX and the Crabtree was the perfect place. Plenty of outdoor seating, a big beautiful beach that felt like our own private paradise - there was no reason to go anyplace else! The apartment was clean and comfortable. When we arrived after a long day of travel we found eggs, bread, butter, milk and orange juice in the refrigerator. We made a trip to a nearby grocery store for a few other items so we could have a few meals at the apartment and we walked into town for our other meals. We enjoyed dinner at the Secret Garden Restuarant at the Salt Raker Inn and lunch at the Sand Bar. As dog lovers, we enjoyed daily visits from the dogs that have adopted the Crabtree Apartments but at times they did get a bit rambunctious and sometimes howled and barked at night. We especially fell in love with a dog named Eva - she absolutely stole our hearts! I will definitely be returning to the Crabtree. Grand Turk and the Crabtree Apartments feel like a home away from home to me!

Perfect beach vacation
This rental has everything you need for a wonderful beach vacation, including a welcoming group of potcakes. We spent most of our time outside, swimming, snorkeling hanging out on the covered patio. We used the bicycles to explore, grocery shop and visit local restaurants. Jessalyn promptly responded to all of my questions and arranged transportation from the airport.

We arrived, dropped our bags, changed and immediately walked out onto the beach and went swimming. The location is superb; the beach is perfectly sandy with lots of areas to explore by snorkeling directly from the beach. We saw a variety of beautiful fish right along our section of beach. The apartment is private and has all the basics one would need. It was breezy when the door/windows/fans were on throughout the day. We did use the A/C in the bedroom at night. The king-size bed is very comfortable. We loved having access to the washer/dryer on site. We ate in and also ate out at the many fine restaurants nearby. The apartment is close to many restaurants--within walking distance, but we rented a golf cart and explored the island, going to a different beach every day. You must try the Arches on the Ridge Cafe--the food is amazing and they make the best Carrot Cake in the world and handcrafted ice cream also! There were no mosquitos during our stay!

BEWARE!!! Absolute Perfection
THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTE PARADISE!!! So, beware as it will be extremely difficult (if not, impossible) to return to your ‘normal’ life after staying at the Crabtree on Grand Turk. The pictures and video do not do the units justice. The living room, kitchen, porch, and bedrooms are the perfect size along with the provided amenities - especially the awesome cruiser bicycles. Other than food and bottled water, you really need to bring nothing else. And the beach is absolute perfection. The soft white sand, the warm, crystal clear water, and coral reefs (yup - plural) are right outside your backdoor. Additionally, the Turks and Caicos natives (“Belongers” or “Turkasians”) are genuinely warm and friendly that you feel are an extension of their family. Everyone we met wanted to ensure we had an enjoyably time in their country and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. For those looking for the perfect vacation filled with incredibly warm culture, delicious food, beautiful beach-front property, and a heavenly beach, you’ve found it! We now intend to make this an annual trip. Enjoy!!! (though you’ve been warned)

Location, location, location!
Could not pick a better spot. With secluded beach right out the back door, was amazing to wake up and walk outside to that view. Snorkeling was awesome 20 yards from shore with fish like Angelfish, Flounder, Barracuda, Stingrays, Porcupinefish, and more all spotted in the 'backyard'! Amenities were also great with everything needed in the kitchen, bedrooms and living room. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart to get around the island, well worth the $$$. All in all, the most relaxing vacation that we have ever taken and very pleased with Crabtree Apartments!

Diving getaway
When the airline cancelled our trip to the Netherlands Antilles, we had to find a place we could get to in order to breathe compressed air. We had dived the TCI previously so decided to go back. The dive shop owner suggested Crabtree apartments and we’re glad she did. They are located 1.1 km from the dive shops and eateries so an easy stroll, even with gear. The apartment was spotless when we arrived (yes… even men notice such things) and everything worked. Bedrooms have A/C but the trade winds keep the living area quite comfortable. We leave today but would stay here again any time!

A dream vacation place
We wanted to have a relaxing time on the beach, and that place was just perfect for that. Beautiful beach with no people, clear blue waters, quite neighbourhood. The sunset views from the back porch are awesome, and wild donkeys came to the backyard every other day. We explored the island with a golf cart and walked to the nearby restaurants and supermarkets. The life here is simple, meaning that there are less options in supermarkets and restaurants, and due to pandemic a lot of places were closed. Regardless, we had everything we needed to enjoy our time there and didn’t want to leave.

Peaceful, Private and Perfect for us
We had an absolutely fabulous week at Crabtree. We rented all 3 apartments for a family of 12 on a trip to celebrate the grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary. The apartments were perfect for us, giving some privacy to each family unit, but space to gather with the two adjoining apartments. The location was incredible, right on the beach, with a nice sandy area under trees to relax. I will never forget waking up and walking right out onto the sand in the morning. We essentially had a private beach to ourselves. Only a few people occasionally strolled by. The cruise ships never bothered us, most people stay down at the cruise port and it was fun to watch the ships come in and out each day. The island is very authentic and very different than Provo (we also stayed 5 days there). We loved the quietness and charm (do not expect a ton to do on the island). We love the Gibbs Cay excursion, one of the most unique experiences we've ever had (swimming with stingrays). The dogs were a huge hit with all of our kids (6 kids ages 8-20). They were sweet and followed us everywhere, even found us the one day we went to Margaritaville. Overall, one of the best vacations we've had and perfect for our family of 12. Jessalyn was wonderful with advice for excursions, catering for our anniversary party, and other advice. Thank you Jessalyn for a fabulous vacation we will remember for a lifetime!

Perfect . . . Again!
This was our second stay at Crabtree Apartments. This time we brought another family with us, and we rented the adjoining units. We all loved it. The location is perfect, the beach is amazing and is what keeps us coming back. You will literally be the only one on your own private stretch of beach. You can float, hunt for shells or seaglass, snorkel or simply plant yourself in a beach chair to take a nap as you listen to the water lap the shoreline. If sun is not really your thing, you can sit on the cushioned furniture on the deck and simply stare at the beauty before you. I have never seen such beautiful colors as the water that surrounds Grand Turk. The apartment has everything you could ever need and is spotless. The thoughtfulness of the owners is apparent in all of the attention to detail. The wifi and cable television are an added bonus, but the simplicity of the island and a chance to get away from it all is really why we go. Jessalyn is so easy to work with and the dogs, Chase and Paws, who have adopted those who stay at Crabtree are the icing on the cake. New rental options have popped up on Grand Turk in the 5 years that have passed since our first stay, but I wouldn't stay anywhere other than at Crabtree Apartments. Thanks for making it so easy!

Absolutely loved GTI and Crabtree apartment
Our first visit to the island. Was sad to see the devastation caused by the back to back hurricanes last year. Slowly trying to rebuild. Loved the quaintness of Crabtree and the dogs & donkeys ❤️ Restaurant food was a bit expensive but soooooo good. Beaches & water was so beautiful that we often just sat on the veranda and watched the ocean. Snorkeling was great right in front of apartment. Found bunch of conch shells. Arelys and Fernando,the managers, responded to every need in very timely manner. Would highly recommend Grand Turk island and Crabtree apts to anyone wanting a relaxing vacation on a beautiful beach. Will be going again soon❤️❤️

Fantastic family and diving vacation
This is the 2nd time my wife and I have stayed here at the Crabtree Apartments. The first time in 2012 and we couldn't believe it took us this long for us to return because we had such a great time then. As usual it did not disappoint from the very beginning the taxi was waiting for us as set up by Jessalyn. When we got to the Crabtree as we walked in the everything was perfectly set up and clean just as we remembered with some food in the frig. And what a beautiful beach view out the back door Wow!! Jessalyn will send an email with all the island info there is also an info book in the apartment everything you will need to enjoy your stay on Grand Turk. Diving is always great here on Grand Turk we used Bluewater Divers and while diving with our divemaster Kingdry the 2nd day we had an amazing experience swimming with a beautiful Sunfish at the Coral Garden dive site which is straight out from the Crabtree. We had my wife's 2 sisters and one brother in law on this trip hopefully more will come next year and it will be a yearly vacation for us. We all had a great relaxing vacation can't wait to return. Rustic, low key Caribbean paradise!
This was our first trip to Turks and Caicos as well the first time visiting the Caribbean without staying at an all inclusive resort. Having spent 10 days on Grand Turk, we felt as though we truly experienced the island. Crabtree Apartments were the perfect place to stay. I’ll echo previous reviews to say Jessalyn was wonderful to rent from beginning with the day I booked to when we arrived. She responded to emails very quickly and had a great binder of info waiting for us in the apartment. It was neat and tidy when we arrived and well stocked for one breakfast and, with some groceries, nicely supplied to cook 3 meals a day. Again, as mentioned by other reviewers, the views are as good as or better than the photos online. Just breath taking! We basically had our own private beach for the week with a large, sandy swimming area and shallow reefs for snorkeling. Often, we didn’t see even one person as we peered up and down the beach. We loved the privacy! I’m not a dog person by any means, but I have to admit Paws and Chase, the apartment dogs, won me over. Incredibly, they are the best behaved dogs I have ever encountered. They were respectful of our personal space, only barked when other dogs were around or the donkeys came to drink their water, tried just once to get into the apartment during a thunderstorm, and were our constant companions/“protectors” for our entire stay. My 16 and 17 year old sons absolutely loved their time with the dogs. The bikes provided were a great addition to the rental. We rented 2 more bikes from the Grand Turk Dive Shop to be sure there were always 4 available for us to use. We rode all around which really gave us a sense of the Island. Quick tip-check your bike tires before you go riding and fill them with the provided pump if needed. We used the washer and dryer as well which was so convenient. As I said, we ate in a lot. There are several groceries stores and we visited every one. Understandably, selection is quite limited and I would suggest bringing as much food/supplies as you can. We enjoyed eating at The Salt Raker Inn and Turks Head Inn where Lori was very knowledgeable and accommodating with a gluten free dinner for me. The lighthouse and museum were nice attractions to visit. The cruise terminal not so much as it was pretty much like being at a US water park with alcohol. All in all, we loved our trip to Grand Turk and highly recommend Crabtree Apartments. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely, as always!
We have stayed in this home quite a few times and it never disappoints. This year, June 2018, there was a new comfortable king size bed and new beautiful surfaces in the kitchen and bath. Abundant fresh linens, and a cook-ready kitchen. I'm so glad to see it so well maintained even after two hurricanes in 2017. The beach is unmatched. I love to snorkel in the "backyard."

The apartment was great. Comfortable and well maintained. The beach was so quiet and felt like our own private beach much of the time. Close to town (Cockburn) by foot and of course even more so via the bicycles that were available. The property manager was very responsive the few times we had questions. One of which was whether or not to feed the dogs that lived outside and were so friendly to us. But gave warnings to others - unnecessarily, but it was nice they felt protective of their "masters" for the week. and yes, ok to feed the dogs so we supplied dog food while there. The people were so friendly everywhere. Robert the taxi driver of Sunshine taxi at 649-246-2111 wonderful. Latoya at Ocean Scapes Spa at 649-232-6201 provided two of the best massages I've ever had. Omar provided golf carts at a discount to the price charged to folks coming off the cruise ships. Which were completely absent from our beach. Osprey hotel restaurant served a great breakfast. I hope to return in the next few years perhaps with more people to share the Crabtree apartments since there are three units. If you like somewhat quiet, somewhat remote, beautiful beaches that feel practically your own much of the time, this is the place to visit. We did not dive, but apparently Grand Turk (a half hour flight from the main island of Providenciales) has some of the best diving in the world.

Best vacation ever!
Before I review our stay I think it's always important to let people know the high level of great communication with Jessalyn and how amazingly easy she is to work with. We originally booked our honeymoon at the Crabtree in November. When hurricanes hit we sadly had to cancel. Jessalyn gave us a refund that day without any problems and we promised to return. That was the best decision ever! There is something very special about the Crabtree that is hard to explain, other than it has a great relaxing "vibe" or energy about it. You can tell hundreds of people have had amazing vacations there. We stayed in Unit 3. They thought of everything. Coffee, eggs, bread and juice were waiting for us after a very long travel day. There was also a bottle of wine with a note wishing us a happy belated honeymoon. The kitchen was well stocked, there were beach towels and chairs. We literally didn't need to bring anything with us except our suits and shorts. There was even sunscreen. The beach was spotless and we literally saw our very nice neighbors only a couple of times. We had the beach to ourselves most days. Our goal was to relax and enjoy the stunning water, the beach and Crabtree Apartments and that goal was met. There wasn't a single thing I would have changed about the unit, it was perfect! One thing to note is that there are three potcakes (island dogs) that have adopted the Crabtree. Chase, Paws and Smiley. There was a another dog Sushi and a momma dog also. We love animals so this was very nice for us. Tough to get dog food on the island but cheese was a big hit and we always made sure they had water. It added to our experience and we were so sad to leave. We travel a lot and like to go new places but I can honestly say we will come back as many times as possible. Our neighbors there have been coming every year since the 90's. That is a great testament to the level of care, cleanliness, thoughtfulness, relaxation and the amazingly stunning beach and views right in front of your door! Crabtree is a very special place and even though Grand Turk is still recovering from the hurricanes there isn't a thing I would change about our visit. The people of GT were super friendly, Jessalyn made sure we had all the information we needed and as soon as we walked in we knew it was going to be an amazing trip. It very much was! Thank you so much Crabtree Apartments and Jessalyn for our stunningly beautiful, relaxing and wonderful stay in Grand Turk! Amazing!

Great Place, Great People and Plenty of Fun Things to do
Grand Turk is a really relaxed and interesting place and Crabtree Apartments are perfectly located to enjoy what the island has to offer. We explored the island, enjoyed the amazing beaches and turquoise blue water and got to know some great people. The apartment itself is stocked with a lot of nice extras including coffee, breakfast food, loads of extra towels, lounge chairs and two great bikes that have double baskets for hauling groceries or snorkeling gear. I have never been to a VRBO that had been as thoughtfully set up for our arrival. The apartment manager was professional and helpful and although we didn't really need much from her she was always available. On the island, we snorkeled right out back of the apartment and saw some cool fish but up the beach at Governor's Beach the fish were everywhere and we could just float out over the rocks and see them. All kinds of colorful fish and crystal clear water to see them. We went into town and found some great places to eat and drink, listen to music or just meet new people and talk about the day. We rode bikes down to the Cruise Center which wasn't all that special but got a chance to see the cruise ships amazingly close to shore. We went on a crazy whale watching excursion where everyone got soaked from the choppy surf but it was a blast anyway. That night we met people from the trip and drank and laughed at what a wild day we had out at sea. The resident dogs at Crabtree were truly surprising and friendly. They are big dogs who hang out waiting for you to go into town or for a walk on the beach. As soon as you head out, one or more go with you - like it is their job - and they 'protect' you from things like donkeys and pickup trucks and other dogs. The island is so chill a person doesn't need protecting but these dogs go with you everywhere. If you walk up to the Salt Raker for live music, cracked conch or a beer, they camp out under your table until it is time to head back. The dogs were terrific. People in town actually know where you're staying because you have these well-known and well-loved dogs with you. We loved it at Crabtree Apartments and Grand Turk. It was more than we had hoped for and certainly a good value. It also felt good to bring some money into the community while it is rebuilding from the hurricanes. You can tell it has been through a lot but it is still an amazingly beautiful place to visit and worth every dime.

Laid back Paradise!
Poor Grand Turk.....yes the devastation caused by the Hurricanes is still quite obvious all over the island. However, Crabtree Apartment Unit 3 was our beautiful little gem for the week! Arelys the manager was there when we needed her. Jess the owner answered emails promptly. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The beautiful beach was our backyard. Don’t expect fancy when you’re looking for places to eat you won’t find many. There are a couple of small food stores with limited supplies. We wanted rest, Sun, beach and just being away from it all - we got all we wanted and then some. Thank you Jess!!

Disappointed
While The Crabtree Apartment was about what we expected, the island conditions were not. The pictures on VRBO and other websites are NOT accurate. There was MUCH more devastation than we were lead to believe. Huge pieces of concrete, lumber, and wires littered the beach of the apartment making it totally unsafe. The Salina across the street, just outside the front door, was over flowing with foul smelling water and debris. We were constantly swatting mosquitos inside the apartment. There was no television or internet service. The air conditioning units need servicing as the air they put out was moldy and mildewd, which my daughter is allergic to so we had to turn them off. There was a very short supply of hot water to take a shower. It was nice that we had start up food in the refrigerator for us. The kitchen is adequately supplied and the bed linens were very nice quality. However, we do not feel we were given a truthful account of the island conditions. The photos on VRBO and various other web sites of the property surrounding the apartment is very misleading.

Kelly, I am very sorry your stay on Grand Turk was less than satisfactory. Our family strives to have a comfortable, clean and pleasant vacation rental and we have had nothing but happy guests and many return guests for over 14 years. I had hoped to speak personally; however, I was only able to leave a message. When I was there in December the beach was high with sand, exactly as the pictures depict, which is the norm for our beach. There was a storm a few days prior to your stay. Unfortunately, it did wash some of the sand away. This happens occasionally but is short lived. The debris that washed up onto our beach has been removed. The Salinas are a relic of the salt mining era on Grand Turk. They often attract many varieties of birds such as flamingos, egrets, herons, stilts, ducks, and sanderlings and can be quite pleasant. The debris was from the hurricane last September. The island is still recovering, however when we were there in December we felt the island was well on its way back to normal. The restaurants were up and running and the trees and plants were beginning to leaf back out. We installed a hotspot to replace the WiFI after your stay and it has been working great. I am so sorry that there was no Internet during your stay. We have ordered a new hot water tank and our manager is having our air conditioners serviced. Thank you for making us aware of these issues. We wish you had let the manager know while you were there; she would have taken care of these right away. We work hard to keep our units in good running condition and always appreciate our guests’ input.

Great place!
Grand Turk is for those who want a very laid back experience. It is a definite departure from your typical island experience. The unit was great and the private beach was amazing!!!!! Service and response by the owner was terrific. The only challenge was without air con in the main living area it became uncomfortable at times. Bedrooms have air con and are comfortable. Kitchen is very well stocked.

What a gem!!!
Read all the previous glowing reviews with a bit of healthy skepticism but it was blown away by our vacation. The location was perfect, the dogs were wonderful Paws (sweet old man) and Chace completely stole our hearts,. The donkeys coming out back for some scratching and food were so fun. The donkeys will eat dog food in bowls supplied and food can be bought in the local grocery stores. The beach was perfect. Just out your back door are snorkeling areas AND soft sandy bottom areas for just playing in the crystal blue waters. The rental was clean and thoughtfully well stocked with coffee, eggs, butter and OJ for that first morning breakfast. Nothing lacking and guest comfort oblivious important in furniture, beds, kitchen suppplies and veranda is awesome. Magical is the best way to describe our week at Crabtree, Grand Turk. BTW this review was written by an avowed beach hater-Alaska loving lady. Never care to set foot on a US beach again but sooo looking forward to our return visit to Crabtree and all of Grand Turk. Have to rethink my position on beach vacations IF Crabtree and GT is on the table.😁

Prefect Vacation Ever
The Condo was just wonderful. It had everything it says it does (so private). There were many grocery stores to get supplies/wine and the people are so friendly and helpful. We had so much fun just laying in the sun and watching the sunset with a glass of wine every night. My best advise is to get a rental car or golf cart, taxis are hard to come by and never come when you want them. The best plan to eat is the Bohio it has excellent food, fun staff and back patio to the Ocean/Sea, also it was opened later (other dinner places closed at 9:00p.m.). Go to the cruise area for shopping/food and see the museum in town. We will definitely be back to stay at Crabtree apartment!!! Worth every penny!!! Loved it!!!

Just lovely as usual!
We first stayed at The Crabtree in 2010 and it just remains almost unbelievably comfortable and lovely. We appreciate all the upgrades over the years. This year there was new comfortable cushioned teak furniture on the roomy veranda. An airy high-ceiling space with nicely proportioned and soothingly decorated rooms and a well-appointed kitchen. This is the second year that we have bought fresh fish on the beach and prepared it "at home." This is the 4th time we have enjoyed the company of Smiley and the third time with Paws and Chase. If you are at all inclined, pick up some dog food when you visit a grocery store and offer food and fresh water to these wonderful companions. Chase in particular greeted me when I opened up the apartment every morning. It was hard to say goodby to him but I learned from our dive company that these dogs are well known and they receive health care. This time we ate at a couple of restaurants new to us: The Secret Garden and Barbie's, both were great. They have always been there but the Sand Bar was so visible and accessible we always stopped there. Two great dinners at Bohio, they are always there when you can't find something closer. We never managed to connect with Annette's Pizza although we stopped several times. Hope it hasn't gone with the Turk's Head Inne, which we miss.

My daughter requested a small island with beautiful water! We found this hidden gem on VRBO and have no regrets. Everything you read is exactly accurate. The only two things that should be noted which took some searching for me to figure out is that you need to fly in to provodenciales and take caicos express or inter carribean to get to grand turk. It is a beautiful island and people are lovely. The house was perfect for myself and my daughters. My husbands only complaint was there wasn't any AC in the main living area. He's a guy so I would say this is typical. Some days were hotter inside than others and the AC units in the bedrooms were awesome!!!! The mosquitos were insane as the sun was setting each night so be sure to bring mosquito repellent with you. If you are looking for a quiet and remote location, not commercialized- this is it!! Jessalyn has everything laid out in the house and how to locate everything in her documents.

What A Backyard!
We truly enjoyed our stay at Crabtree. The ocean is a few steps away from the well furnished patio offering beautiful sunsets every night and swimming during the day. The apartment itself is comfortable and well appointed. The owners even provide a few amenities for your first day (bread, eggs, bottled water, etc.) so that you don't have to shop after a day of travel. In terms of proximity, it is within walking distance to Cockburn Town and a few restaurants which makes it convenient. There is a washer and dryer on the premises and nice beach towels as well - which is also convenient. For getting around the island, they provide bikes with baskets for sightseeing or running to the grocery/liquor store. Overall it was a great place to stay for a relaxing week! They are easy to work with and are very attentive. Thank you Crabtree!

The property is exceptionally clean and very well maintained
My wife and I use vrbo properties 3-5 times a year and can honestly say we have never been disappointed. However, we also have never taken the time to write a review until now. These Crabtree apartments are everything and more. The beach is beautiful, the veranda is where we began and ended each day. Very close to town for dining and excursions, the town people are so friendly and welcoming. Words cannot express how happy we are that we chose Crabtree. The bonus for our trip were the humpback whales surfacing right off the beach in front of the apartment. We are already planning our return trip.

We got exactly what we hoped for and expected!!
My wife and I celebrated our 15th anniversary this past August and were looking for a warm winter getaway. Knowing very little about Turks and Caicos after a trip to Provo 13 years ago, we wanted that ever so soft sand under our feet again. Our goal of the trip was solitude, oceanfront and a slowing down of life. Grand Turk came on our radar and Crabtree caught our eye immediately. Literally steps from the water and we had the whole beach to ourselves. The house was perfect. We even found ourselves referring to the house as "our place". It helps that we fell in love with "our" three dogs. So loyal and friendly without barking or begging. Was happy to feed them for the length of our stay. The island may not be typical caribean but had such a nice group of people. We are not exactly the shy type. A shout out to our neighbor Nate, a dive master at Oasis. Raul serves a mean drink at the Inn of Grand Turk. Katrina, the owner at Grand Turk Inn sat with us for dinner. The Viera sisters so welcoming at Sandbar was where we ate lunch almost every day. Erica served us our nightcaps at secret garden almost every night. Such good people makes you want to go back. The bikes at Crabtree made it so easy to get around. I can not recommend the Crabtree apartments enough unless you are trying to get the same week I am!! In vacation happiness, Jason and Christie F.

Grand Turk Gem!
We absolutely loved the Crabtree Apartments! The location was ideal as we could walk and/or bike to the dive shop, and restaurants each day. The apartment was clean, up to date with all appliances and furniture and nicely decorated...we would definitely recommend it to anyone staying on Grand Turk. The beach access right out your backdoor was the best part! My husband and I have travelled all throughout the Caribbean and most villas are too rustic and/or very basic. Not Crabtree...it felt like a true "second home". We cannot thank you enough for the staple groceries in the fridge upon our arrival...as we arrived at 6pm and had limited time to bike to the grocery store!! We will be returning to Grand Turk as we love the diving; I can assure you we will choose Crabtree Apt again. Thank you so much for everything
