It’s in a great location right in the heart of Clun, making it easy to explore the village and enjoy the surrounding countryside. Everything was straightforward and well looked after, and the whole place had a friendly, welcoming feel. A great place to stay – would happily return.“

„Excellent quiet location in beautiful surroundings. Secluded yet only a short distance from the village of Leintwardine, which has a pub, a filling station and a shop (all of them good). Warm welcome, friendly hosts, good breakfast. Perfect for hikes and excursions.“

„Friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. Comfortable rooms with good ensuite facilities at a great price. Restaurant has excellent dishes at good prices and the bar serves a good range of drinks again at good prices. A Continental Breakfast is included and there is no cooked breakfast option. The only drawback is the lack of a lift and one or two floors are a bit unveven but to be expected at over 400 years old. “

„Die Stufen knarzen und die Türstöcke sind niedrig. Fehlt eigentlich nur noch ein eigener Hausgeist und man fühlt sich heimelig im guten alten Wales. Das Hotel ist herzig und sehr ruhig am Land gelegen. Viel los ist nicht in dem Dörfchen, aber wir haben das Dragon Hotel auch als Ausgangspunkt diverser Exkursionen und Ausflüge ins Umland gewählt und nicht wegen dem glücklicherweise nicht vorhandenem "pulsierenden Nightlife" Die Angestellten sind alle sehr freundlich und nett - alles in allem ist ...

„Lovely room. Very clean and it was great having fresh milk in the fridge when we arrived. We ate and drank at the pub too and that had a great atmosphere. The location was great - great right in the middle of Ludlow. Only downside was that you could hear people sitting in the garden of the pub until 11pm. This wasn’t a problem for us but might be for some people “
