„I couldn't fault this beautiful spacious home. It had everything we needed for the perfect family get away, and the playroom and trampoline in the garden got a big thumbs up from my grandchildren. The location was great for exploring everything that West Mersea has to offer, especially the seafood! Everyone went away feeling totally relaxed! One big thumbs up for me, was that John the owner greeted me at the property in person to show me how everything worked!“

„For us the parking was difficult. There is a 1 hour restriction in the centre of Woodbridge which made overnight parking a problem. My friend who was the driver is disabled and wasn’t able to walk the distance from the car parks. Apart from that we loved our stay at Glovers Cottage“

„Travelled down for my brother's wedding and had all the family and friends from the states staying. The place was perfect for what we needed and there was plenty of space for us all. Plus the 3 toilets and 2 showers was very handy for everyone getting ready.“

The host was very accommodating and even helped unite us with some lost items. My one recommendation would be for the host to get slightly nicer pillows for the twin rooms. But other than that I can’t have any complaints.“

Rowland has added a great garden sofa/table area outside with optional sun screen, so we spent most of our time chilling in the garden, soaking up the view and enjoying the fresh catch of the day from over the road. „The property was perfectly situated with local amenities withing walking distance - we didnt have to touch the car for the duration of our get away. The property itself was a great base with more than enough sleeping space for the 6 of us. The only downside that we noticed was the lack of a comfy sitting area after a long day of crabbing down on the jetty. The property did not advertise that it had a living room and did only mention a dining area, an over sight on our part, perhaps reducing ...

„Super authentisches, weitestgehend im Originalzustand befindliches viktorianisches Reihenhäuschen. Dicke, alte Holzdielen, Bleiglasfenster, stilechte Möblierung mit Sinn für Details! Der schicke, gußeiserne Kamin im Wohnzimmer ist leider außer Betrieb, aber Die Heizung tut ihren Job sehr gut! Die Küche ist auf dem neuesten Stand - incl. Induktionsherd! Einzig einen Geschirrspüler gibt es nicht... Die Nachbarschaft ist (zumindest für deutsche Verhältnisse) etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig....aber ...
