„We wanted a house that comfortably accommodated all of us and it certainly lived up to expectations. It was cosy and comfortable. It was equipped well with everything we needed for our stay. „We stayed for a mid week break in June 2025's heatwave. It was lovely to be next to the lake in the heat. There were lakes where we could paddle to cool down and let the dog walk in (on lead). The property was properly dog friendly with throws on the settees expecting dogs to climb up and no area of the house out of bounds for the dog. There are many walks around the estate (which is a nature reserve) and also on the Thames path for the dog as well as the humans. The spa membership was ...

„We really enjoyed our stay at Milly Cottage. It was perfect for our family. A newly decorated property, with a very well stocked kitchen and loads of cupboard space throughout the house. A very comfortable and well laid out living space. Milly Cottage is located on the most impressive of the lakes at the Lower Mill Estate. We loved waking up in the morning with the view of the lake. „We had a wonderful stay in this delightful cottage overlooking the lake, with passing wildlife, plenty of sunshine, and beautiful views. Both balcony bedrooms shared the same outlook, making the mornings especially memorable. The house is very comfortable for up to 7 guests, with a large open-plan living area featuring a balcony, log fire, TV, big kitchen table, and a well-equipped kitchen. „Fabulous break with a large family group over two’s properties. The outlook was lovely and the sunrises spectacular over the lake. The house was equiped with everything you could need and the amenities around the site were ample, including pub/cafe/ outdoor pool/ play area. Would definitely return. The only downside was others taking your allocated parking space.“

„This was our second stay on the Lower Mill site. It still proves to be a lovely location. Indian Summer exceeded our expectations. Although the photos suggest it has been "squeezed in" between other properties, there is no sense of this once inside. It is spacious, with lovely views. I suspect that in summer , it will be lovely to sit outside. The property provided an ideal base for a week's worth of walks in the Cotswolds. And it was (almost) a pleasure to run along the Thames each morning ...

„We stayed here for a weekend as a group of friends and it was absolutely perfect. The lake setting is so beautiful and the house itself was comfortable, beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything we needed. We loved spending time in the hot tub, relaxing in the huge kitchen and playing games in the living room, and there are lots of lovely walks from the house to places to eat around the local lakes. Can’t recommend the house highly enough- we can’t wait to come back!“

„I’ve just returned from another delightful break at Mill Village with my big kids and grandchildren. We drive from Brighton every year!) Damsel Cottage has everything we need regardless of age. I never tire of the beautiful lakeside views and walks, whilst the youngsters love the heated swimming pool, cycling and taking the kayaks out.
