If you want to visit the Fukumankan in Mihonoseki, so you should have a car also!
Its a small village, no conbini!
Busses comes, but not so often.
The food is 90% fish! You should love fish!
A kind Familie does own and work in the Hotel, the experience was amazing !
You need maybe 2 days for the walkingway in the mountains and the village !

It is situated close to a bus-station, but because my train from Tokyo arrived late, they picked me up at the train station in Sakaiminato - no problem! The atmosphere is very cozy and family-like.
