Welcome to Gîte Rochechouart, a charming and comfortable holiday cottage for up to 4 guests, set in the peaceful countryside of the beautiful Charente region of France.

The cottage offers two comfortable ground-floor bedrooms, a cosy living room, a well-equipped kitchen and a private terrace with barbecue. Thanks to the thick stone walls, the bedrooms stay pleasantly cool during the summer months.

Whether you are planning a relaxing summer holiday, a romantic escape, a family getaway or a longer stay to discover life in France, this is a wonderful place to unwind.

## 🌿 Your Own Private Terrace and Cosy Living Room

Step inside the spacious living room, featuring comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV.

From the living room, you have direct access to your private terrace, where you can enjoy breakfast outdoors, relax in the sunshine or spend a peaceful evening with a glass of French wine.

Outdoor seating and a barbecue are provided.

The terrace is not covered, allowing you to enjoy the open air and beautiful surroundings.

## 🍳 Comfort and Convenience

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare your own meals during your holiday, including:

- Four-ring hob
- Microwave
- Nespresso coffee machine
- Crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils

Please note that the kitchen does not have a dishwasher.

## 🛏️ Two Comfortable Ground-Floor Bedrooms

One of the advantages of Gîte Rochechouart is that both bedrooms are located on the ground floor.

The thick stone walls help keep the bedrooms pleasantly cool, even during warm summer days.

**Bedroom 1:** A comfortable king-size bed (180 × 200 cm), which can also be arranged as two single beds.

**Bedroom 2:** Two single beds (90 × 200 cm).

All beds have comfortable box-spring bases and new mattresses to ensure a restful night's sleep.

The cottage also features a spacious bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet, plus an additional separate toilet.

## 🏊 Heated Swimming Pool and Beautiful Gardens

Gîte Rochechouart is one of three charming holiday cottages at **Tranquille Vienne Gîtes**, situated on a peaceful rural property in the Charente.

Guests can enjoy our large shared garden, comfortable sun loungers, parasols and inviting seating areas.

The heated swimming pool measures **9.4 × 4 metres** and is 1.5 metres deep.

The pool is open seasonally, depending on weather conditions, and is shared between guests staying in our three cottages.

There is plenty to keep both adults and children entertained:

- Trampoline
- Table tennis
- Table football
- Play facilities for younger children
- Quiet seating areas for reading and relaxing

For families travelling with babies or toddlers, a travel cot, high chair and stair gate are available free of charge upon request.

Each cottage has its own private terrace, allowing guests to enjoy their personal space while sharing the lovely outdoor facilities.

**Gîte Rochechouart, Gîte Chabanais and Gîte Confolens.**

This is a wonderful option for family gatherings, holidays with grandparents, children and grandchildren, or groups of friends who would like to spend quality time together.

The best part? Each family or couple can enjoy the comfort and privacy of their own cottage, while everyone can come together around the heated swimming pool, in the spacious garden or for a relaxing evening outdoors.

A charming village with a bar, restaurant, pharmacy and post office. You can also enjoy kayaking on the River Vienne.
