Welcome to Gîte Confolens, the largest of our three charming holiday cottages at Tranquille Vienne Gîtes, situated in a peaceful rural setting in the beautiful Charente region of France.

This comfortable holiday home accommodates up to 5 guests and offers three bedrooms, a cosy living room, a well-equipped kitchen, two toilets and its own private fenced front garden.

A wonderful place for families, couples and friends looking to enjoy a relaxing holiday in France.

## 🛋️ A Cosy Living Room and Well-Equipped Kitchen

On the ground floor, you will find a bright and welcoming living room with comfortable seating, perfect for relaxing after a day of walking, cycling or exploring the surrounding countryside.

The kitchen is equipped with the usual facilities and everything you need to prepare your own meals during your stay.

## 🛏️ Three Bedrooms with Comfortable Beds

Gîte Confolens offers three bedrooms arranged over two floors.

**On the ground floor:**

- One bedroom with a single bed.
- A bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet.

**On the first floor:**

- One bedroom with two comfortable single beds.
- One bedroom with a double bed.
- An additional toilet with washbasin.

Since 2024, all beds have been fitted with new box-spring bases and mattresses, helping to ensure a comfortable and restful night's sleep.

## 🌿 Your Own Private Fenced Garden – Perfect for Dog Owners!

One of the special features of Gîte Confolens is its **private fenced garden at the front of the cottage**.

It is a lovely place to enjoy breakfast outdoors, relax with a good book or spend a peaceful evening in the fresh country air.

Gîte Confolens is also our only cottage where dogs are welcome.

During our winter offer, dogs can stay free of charge, provided they do not disturb other guests. Dogs must be kept on a lead in the shared areas outside the private garden.

## 🏊 Heated Swimming Pool and Beautiful Outdoor Spaces

Gîte Confolens is one of three holiday cottages at **Tranquille Vienne Gîtes**.

Our peaceful property features a large shared garden and a lovely heated swimming pool measuring **9.4 × 4 metres**, with a depth of 1.5 metres.

The swimming pool is open seasonally, depending on weather conditions, and is shared with guests staying in our other two cottages.

The garden offers sun loungers, parasols and several pleasant seating areas.

There is plenty to enjoy for both adults and children:

- Trampoline
- Table tennis
- Table football
- Outdoor toys for younger children
- Quiet corners for reading and relaxing

For families with young children, a travel cot, high chair and stair gate are available free of charge upon request.

Planning a family reunion, a holiday with several families or a relaxing getaway with friends?

At **Tranquille Vienne Gîtes**, you can also rent all three of our holiday cottages together, subject to availability:

**Gîte Confolens, Gîte Chabanais and Gîte Rochechouart.**

This is an ideal option for family gatherings, holidays with grandparents, children and grandchildren, or groups of friends who would love to spend time together in the French countryside.

The great advantage is that each family or couple has the comfort and privacy of their own cottage, while everyone can enjoy the heated swimming pool, spacious garden and wonderful outdoor surroundings together.

Our cottages are also suitable for walking and cycling groups.

Please note that we do not accept bookings from groups of young people.
