„Lovely little cottage, really clean & with nice touches- dog bowls & bed, children’s books, scented candles, local guide books. Fully equipped & sparkling clean kitchen. Beautiful view from the back garden & situated in a small village around a green. Only issue was that I couldn’t turn down the heating except by turning the (very modern) boiler off. Useful to have instructions on how to do this - also a printed (not just online) manual for the house. Lovely place & I would go again.“

„Very well equipped accommodation. Great base for exploring the area. Beamish museum very close and well worth a visit. Also close enough to visit Newcastle, can get metro so don't have to drive in, Hadrians wall, Derwent water. Lot of places to visit. Good location if doing Great North Run.“

„Property was lovely. Everything we needed for stay. Plenty plates, glasses and utensils in kitchen. Lots of room in lounge for us all. Bedrooms comfy and bathrooms lovely too with towels and nice hand wash. Would recommend to family and friends and definitely be back again soon.“

„Flat was spacious, but dated, and is located in an undesirable area. Cleanliness was generally okay but decor etc could do with upgrading and flat may benefit from being aired regularly. We got the impression that it had been a while since the windows had been opened.“

„Nice and comfortable place with everything you need, convenient stores 5 mins walk, there are bus stops, but I think is convenient to have a car and there is a great driveway next to the house and the beds are clean & comfortable. The only downside for me it’s not pet friendly anymore, she had a bad experience in the past with other guests and asked as soon as I arrived if my small dog would be kept in a crate during my stay. For people whom own dogs, we know that it’s difficult to control ...

„Property was as described on Vrbo , fairly easy to locate , although (What 3 Words ) app might be an idea to add to info . on arrival parking space was inadequate for family size car . Outside of property there was rubbish left by front door ie old floor covering and wood which didn’t give a good first impression . House was clean , and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay . Only down side was the smell of damp .. overall happy with our stay .“
