This was a lovely place to stay and perfectly located to visit bamburgh and visiting the coastal towns. The room was spacious and clean. It was very dog and child friendly. The beds were comfy and there was coffee, tea and milk provided as well as cereals. The host was knowledgeable and kind.

I ts a good base for exploring the whole seahouse region the room was newly decorated and clean as was the bathroom tea and coffee and tv and free wifi in room and a fridge on landing with milk and cereal which done me for breakfast hopefully stay again next year hostess was hepful snd friendly when needed but left you to it you need a car for nearest shops and facilities but it only takes 10 minutes at the most there are no pavements as its real rural area so feel it d be quite dangerous if you walked

We loved staying here...Vanessa was lovely, the clever way she did breakfast so we could choose when we had it, the comfy room and bed...the great taxi service to Seahouses, the fact the we were left alone to enjoy our few days...all combined to make the 3 nights we stayed wonderful, and we will definitly be back!

Quite easy to find, & handy for many of the cute villages on that coast. The bed was comfortable, & the single room has its own bathroom with a good shower & a, very welcome, hot bath. Tea, coffee, fresh milk & 2 types of cereal available. Would use again if I was over on Northumberland's coast.

Very pleasant stay host very friendly and knowledgeable. And went above and beyond with home comforts .although booked accommodation only there was milk in the fridge, choice of cereal, chocolate biscuits in my room plenty of coffee ,tea and sugar. Washing up liquid and tea towel aswell as bowls cups and cutlery. plenty of plugs to charge your electricals beautiful scenery around too. Many thanks East house and Expedia very well organised and efficient. See you again on my next adventure to Northumberland Will

Not a great smell

We didn't have an issue with the cleanliness. Our biggest issue was the horrible smell in the house. This was especially true in the downstairs hall area. We found it very off-putting.

Shambles

Est House is a shambles. Skirting Boards, Window Sills, shelves were in need of a good scrub.Ingrained dirt in all the corners..The shower was not fit to use.. The only redeeming feature was, the bed was clean...Not to be recommended.

Excellent place just outside Beadnell.

East House is a lovely old property. We had a large room with a great view across farm fields (there were cows!), and the sea, you could also see Dunstanburgh castle in the distance. The host was really welcoming and friendly. Despite what it says in the description the beds are fully made up and there is a good supply of towels in the bathroom so you don’t need to bring sheets etc. nice touches in the room included a kettle, coffee, fresh milk, cereals, biscuits, shampoo, hair conditioner, soap etc. There is also a small fridge on the landing where you can store drinks and snacks. Definitely recommend this place, intend to stay again.

Golf trip stay over.

Nice and quiet location with lovely countryside views (sea in the distance). Breakfast is basically some cereal left outside your door. Shower is a mixer tap in the bath. Little headroom fir anyone talker than 5ft. Generally a bit tatty around the edges. Dirty porch and messy garden. Car parking awkward. Owners dogs do bark at times.

Farm House

Owner Venessa is very welcoming and accomadating. I am a solo traveller and this time brought my bicycle along. Previously had been staying in Beadnell and with one phone call away I was able to check in with my bike and bags. Farmhouse is on direct route from Beadnell or Chathill and easy to access. Check out Low Newton by the sea..a short ride or drive away. Beautiful clear water and white soft sands. Seahouses nearby for shopping eating drinking out lets and Farne island trips! Room was comfortable and homely. As no one else was staying at the time I was , I was given access to the upstairs landing and bathroom. Highlight a bath too! Guest area is clean and comfortable guests are given everything needed. Clean bedding and towels. Cereal for the morning and fridge to keep items in. One of the house rules. No eating in the room and to eat in the sunroom provided.

I wasn’t sure the house was right but the post code takes you to the door! The original picture shows a White House but it isn’t white anymore. The room was a single but still I had a full bathroom to myself attached, a fridge and tea coffee stuffs so was very happy. It is so quiet out there but it’s still not far from main towns. Vanessa is a very nice host. I will definitely stay here again 🤗

Great location, close to Beadnell, ideal for coastal walks or St Cuthbert’s and St Oswald’s Ways. Friendly host, lovely lady, fresh fruit was a nice kind touch. Bed was clean and comfortable, but the cupboard used to house the tea and coffee needs cleaning, as does the shower door. A new sign outside, and fire evacuation routes inside the room would make it even better.

The property privides essential features. All ammenities are inside from kettle, heater, tea coffee, etc. It is close to the bus stop, and you just need to walk 2mins. Make sure you have foods with you as the property is located far awat from any convenience store. However, morning cereal and milk is provided here, it surely helps !

I’ve stayed in the single room and it had all I needed for my short stay. I spent most of my time exploring the nearby villages/sites, so all I wanted was a safe accommodation nearby the main sites I wanted to visit (Seahouses, Bamburgh and Lindisfarne) with free parking, reasonably priced and a quiet atmosphere. Vanessa’s place ticked all the boxes for me. Perhaps not the place for you if you wish to spend more time at the property as you do not have a lot of extra space in the room and no cooking facilities or if you do not have a car as I do not know if public transport is frequent in the area.
