„There are always a few small things (our cold tap barely worked) but overall, this hotel was brilliant. Staff were friendly, spa was really well appointed and treatments were both very good and reasonably priced. Its location right on the river and in the heart of a tiny but bustling little village is idyllic. Room was spacious, comfortable bed, all the necessary accessories. Highly recommended “

Man merkt, dass es liebevoll mit Blick für das Detail geführt wird. Abends kann man das Restaurant (das Hotel wird von einem Ehepaar geführt, der Mann kümmert sich um das Hotel, die Frau ist die Köchin) besuchen und kann ambitionierte französische Küche zu sehr annehmbaren Preisen auf der Terrasse genießen. „Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in diesem Hotel. Es ist nicht besonders schön und nicht romantisch. Trotzdem ist es unglaublich praktisch für eine Durchreise weiter in den Süden. Es ist super gelegen. Es lohnt sich, den Ort Chinon anzusehen. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten und saubere Zimmer. Absolut ruhig. Der Ort lohnt total für einen Zwischenstopp. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.“
