This review is about my booking, rather than my room. I booked two nights through Expedia and then cancelled those nights and booked the two nights immediately before. I have the cancellation screenshot from Expedia. I was charged for the cancelled nights. Expedia said the hotel has to refund it because I cancelled. The hotel said Expedia has to refund it because they didn't notify the hotel - leaving me stuck in the middle. I've been a heavy user of Expedia for years and have never experienced anything like this. Also, when we were checking out of our actual nights, I noted that the charges had hit my credit card twice (it turned out this was the cancelled nights) - I asked, but the staff assured me I would only be charged once. Between the Holman and Expedia, this was a bit of a customer service disaster and I would not, as a result, recommend the hotel even though the location is excellent.
