The room given to us was smelling very foul,some sewage type of smell was coming from the bathroom and the bed ,we asked to change or refresh the room but it was not done , we had a very bad experience staying there, due to the smell we had to check out early.

Good comfortable stay at Fern.
Has a good comfortable stay. The hotel is situated in the Industrial Area of the city. I was on business in the same area so it was great to have a hotel very near to the area of business. Tourists might find it a bit odd for their location though as it is away from the touristy sites of the city. However, the biggest mall of the city is within 1 km walking distance so if you have some spare time, you have various options at the mall. The hotel is good, beds are comfortable, but he breakfast is not too great especially for foreign guests. The options are also limited compared to other Fern hotels across the country. Room service though is immaculate and the in room dining experience was good. For one night, it is okay. One may get a bit bored though if you pan on staying more than 2 nights at a stretch

Local hotel with poor level of cleanliness
I thought the room was the same standard as international 4 star hotels but I was mistaken. All surfaces had not been thoroughly cleaned in a long time but I guess the hygiene level is not the same in Indian local chain hotels than in international ones. You get what you pay for. There was not even liquid body wash in the whole hotel and showering left my body very itchy and dry. Indian breakfast was mediocre.

Good location , Comfortable for family. Good food
We had a good stay for 3 nights. Staff was very caring . On a minor complaint they offered & changed our room despite of the season rush. Full marks for cleanliness and hospitality. The buffet breakfast every morning made our day a new place. The food is very tasty. The hotel is situated at the entry to Candigarh. Not very close to Lake and other tourist spots. but public conveyeance is readily available. Overall a pleasing experience for the family stay.

Nice Business Hotel
The staff in particular is very courteous and quick, other important parameters like cleanliness, location of hotel, room facilities and food are surely above average. The only negative about the hotel is they do not offer complementary wi fi for 24 hours. They offer it only for 1 hour per day.
